Dirty and expensive, long stairs with no life cause big problem for someone like me who has mobility needs. Location is good though.

Well placed by the station and within good walking distance of various sights in Florence. Breakfast was continental and ample. My only reservation is the noise that emanates from the breakfast area very early in the morning with doors banging. We were in a room right next to the area.

Our room opened up to a courtyard. We were shown to our room and shown the amenities. Loved the little complimentary slippers. Good location. Google maps has address incorrect.

Great location. But shower has no pressure, soap and shampoo quality are the worst I ever seen. Room has high ceilings but not enough light.

5 minute walk from train station. WiFi only works at reception area.

The hotel is a five minute walk from the train station. The breakfast room didn't open till 8 o'clock and most of our tours started before 8 o'clock so we're not able take advantage of the free breakfast. The bathroom smelled like a sewer. The manager was rude. I asked her about instant coffee since the room had tea. She told me that if I wanted coffee I could purchase coffee at the store around the corner.

Perfect location for a hotel to rest and go to all the touristic places

The hotel is in a very good location. The breakfast was okay. The bed was not so comfortable. There was a bar on the ground floor that played very loud music which can be heard in our room until past midnight so we were not really able to get much sleep. The room was fairly clean except the top of the cabinet was full of dust. A lot of restaurants around and the hotel is close to the train station.

We were afraid that there was no air conditioning in the room since there was none at reception but we were wrong. The room was very confortable and extremely well located, close to the train station and different sight seeing attractions.

Great ambience and fantastic location, literally two blocks from the train station at Santa Maria Novella. Cristina is very knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms have wonderful charm with working fans and air conditioning and double-pane windows to keep out the street noise. We enjoyed breakfast. Very close to San Lorenzo and the Duoma Piazza. The center of town is also nearby as is the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. For the price this hotel is a bargain.

All you need for a stay to sleep; very peaceful. Hotel is small but the room is all ok complete with all you need. Honest staff; i forgot my wallet in the bed (fell under or misplaced) with cards and money but when we came it is placed on our table . "thanks for that"

Adequate hotel if you just need a place to sleep. But the room is not clean & the wifi signal is weak to almost nothing. There are no elevators & our room is on the 3rd floor. But the hotel is walking distance to the train station & all the attractions in Florence.

Hotel is very close to SMN railway station and the city centre. Great location for sightseeing and shopping. Also great location to catch train to travel to Pisa and Sienna for visits outside of Florence. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower was a bit small but got in. Otherwise happy with the room. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was really nice. Not a lot of choice in the breakfast but good enough for the price paid.

I was surprised to see some complaints about the rooms. Ours was perfectly good. The location was great. The room was comfortable. It was clean, and really spacious, especially for Europe. Breakfast was a little... weird, but in a great space (nice, outdoor patio). The only negative I have is that the internet sucked. Like really sucked. It didn't work from just after 8pm one night until almost noon the next day. For tourists with no access to data plans, this is a big deal.

Friendly staff for a very pleasant stay very close to the center of Florence and near the station. Lovely details, like historical photos of Florence, pleasant little terrace to have breakfast, and very nice interior structure, such as nooks and crannies. I would stay there again.
