The location for this hotel is great for train arrivals. It is a short 5 minute walk from the station and there are lots of great eateries nearby and open late. The check in to the hotel felt locally owned with friendly service. The room was small and basic but clean. There was a little bit of noise outside from the main street throughout the night but overall was a pleasant and easy stay.

Staff were good , room a bit dated , laminated floors meant a bit of room noise . Outside roadworks didn’t help . Very close to station with usual station activity but very handy if you are on an early train . Lobby was again a bit dated and not a great advert for the Hotel . Perhaps with a bit of care and attention it can become better.

Hotel is next to neon lit strip club which is offputting for lone female arriving late at night.

Staff and location to train station perfect. Kettle unusable it leaked ,shower head kept falling off and for hobbits only walls paper thin but loved we had a corner room with balcony . But we hadn't realized how expensive France had become so most probably a bargain. Best check in ever

The Bed and Pillows need to be replaced. The light in the bathroom was broken No comparison to description on the expedia site. Not worth the money

Nice hotel. Well placed for the station. Tone of the area a bit dubious - right next to strip club and up the street from several sex shops.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in December. Location is very convenient for travel by rail as it is right opposite the railway station. Only 15 min walk from Capitole square. Be aware that it is right next to a strip club and there are a number of sex shops down the road from it as you walk the shortest route to the centre - having said that it was quiet and we had no bother. The room was clean and the staff helpful. Our toilet was leaking water (clean) we reported it but it wasn’t fixed while we were there but that might have been because there was no plumber around. This was perfectly acceptable clean accommodation - breakfast was fine.

Reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating during our stay. Bathroom was a little tired but clean. Very convenient for the bus & train stations and a short walk into the centre.

I selected this hotel because reviews said it was close to Toulouse train station - it was, about a 3 min walk - and the staff were nice - they were fantastic, so helpful and friendly, I couldn't say enough nice things about them in fact! It is also a great budget option for a hotel that has all the basics and is clean, though obviously, for that price, not luxurious. It's a great find.

Red light district right around the corner

This hotels offers a really good value for money. It is clean, conveniently close to the train station, unpretentious but comfortable. The gentleman at the reception was extremely friendly, kind and helpful. I stayed there a night in my way to a little town close to Toulouse but given my flight to Toulouse arrived quite late, I couldn't continue my journey on the same day. I was so happy from my previous experience that I booked another night in my way back.

All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Would like to give special recognition to Jonathan L, front desk reception, for his kindness, excellent English language skills, and assistance in making the stay at the Occitania very memorable.

Ideal overnight stop 2 minutes walk from main railway station.

Stayed for one night. Room looked old, needs refurbishing. A/c worked fine and bed was comfy. Located across the street from train station.

I have high praise for the reception staff. The elevator was under repair when I arrived, but the receptionist made sure my suitcase was taken upstairs (two flights) so I didn't have to carry it. Later, when the Wi-Fi went out, a very nice (different) couple at reception spent 20 minutes finding out and fixing the problem. They also arranged for, and confirmed with me, a taxi for 5:30 the next morning. This was my second stay in this hotel. The rooms are compact, but modern and clean. If street noise bothers you, ask for a room off the boulevard; personally, I like the night view of the handsome old Gare Matabiau. I don't know how fluent staff members are in English because I spoke French.
