a solid, business man on a budget hotel close to the train station, clean and orderly, with some plumbing issues

Went to hotel, was given a room on the inner courtyard. Then I opened window as room was hot. What came in was cigarette smoke. Went to front desk and found out it is a shared courtyard, and some residents there smoke. They didn't have any other rooms. At least they refunded payment, but don't waste your time with this place unless you like breathing cigarette smoke.

Lived the vintage vibe and location was great. The front desk attendant was very nice. The room was small but clean and comfortable and even had a mini fridge and a fun vintage radio. There is a small elevator which is helpful if you have luggage. The price was great too and included breakfast with some eggs and bread and a coffee. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms are a bit dated and small but everything functioned as it was supposed to.

I saved money when I walked into the hotel. The gentlemen behind the desk showed me how to travel wisely and to purchase tickets to attractions separately. If I would have booked on typical sites which feature things to do, I would have spent double what I spent. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was light but filling. The location is in walking distance from Central Station. You will thank yourself for staying here.

Property is well located close to the main Zurich train station, trams and the Limmat River. Nice simple breakfast. Internet service was great. Rooms & bathroom not large. What wasn't great was I needed to loan an adaptor for euro plugs to Swiss power plug & was charged 20CHF for 1 night ( nearly AUD $40) - can buy them for 7CHF but we got caught without one.

Breakfast was outsourced to café next door, and was pretty frugal. They were obviously not keen on having to accommodate hotel guests.

Hotel Arlette was great!! We showed up late, after hours, but check-in was straightforward and easy. The room was spotless, older and small (retro), but comfortable and clean. We loved it. The location is great. Easy walk to train station and downtown. The staff whom we met the next morning was so nice.

Great for 1 night stay. Very near train station. Free breakfast. Great value for the price. Dont expect very cheap coz this is switz.

Everything the pictures promised. Cute little hotel perfectly positioned in the heart of the action. Clean and comfortable. Friendly. Very good breakfast.

We picked Arlette Hotel on our way back from Zermatt as it was very close to the train station. The staff are so polite and accommodating. The room had an 80s vibe which I loved. Continental breakfast was included and it was delicious. Very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Thank you Arlette!

Close to the train station, so very convenient. The room decor and furniture are quite old but very clean, and it has everything (safe, fridge). The room price also includes basic continental breakfast. Overall, good value.

It is a classic hotel, please don’t compare it with other modern design hotels. Everything is clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, bonus is the fridge in the room. Great location near Zurich HB.

The Hotel Arlette is very conveniently located to the main train station- just a short walk across the river. The room was small and clean, and had some great vintage touches! The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was basic but served with care and very much appreciated. The items in the mini bar/fridge are very reasonably priced. Also it's so nice to have the use of a fridge in your room. My only disappointment was that the aircon was switched off during the time of year of my stay, even though it was quite hot outside, but this was manageable with opening the window, taking a cool shower, and lying still. This was by far the most economical option in the city, and it was perfectly adequate. So much so that I opted to stay here again on my return from the Alps. Would stay again!

The hotel was very dated, i felt it was overpriced for what it was. The staff were super friendly, i just felt for the condition it should have cheaper. Zurich is a very expensive city, but that doesn't justify a hotel with a tiny room, awful bed and thin towels to charge so much money. Breakfast was good and the location was great.

All of the staff are extraordinary nice, they always try thier best to satisfy your needs such that you can enjoy your stay very much. I highly praise for this aspect.
