Everything is good except a step up from the bedroom to the bathroom where I hurt my toes.

You feel like you stepped back in time which made our stay all the more unique.

Fantastic hotel in an excellent location.

There was no elevator from front door to the reception. If any lift there, it was easier to carry our baggages

Our stay was short but nice. My parents used to stay here when they were in town so it brought back warm memories. The hotel is conveniently located with a nice breakfast.

Very nice breakfast and room. Plaza was nice, streets across the hotel and behind the hotel were fun to explore. I highly recommend an afternoon snack at k.u.k. Hofbäckerei Café. 8mins to Jindrak, 10 minute walk to Cathedral.

If you're looking for a charming 500 year old hotel in the heart of Linz, Hotel Wolfinger is the spot. If you're looking for a modern hotel, well, that's not Hotel Wolfinger, nor should it be.

Great hotel, in a beautiful location at a reasonably price

I really like the location of the hotel but we were put into a room without an elevator and we had several heavy suitcases. The other complaint is that the room was lacking a few modern conveniences like a safe, coffee machine and a small fridge.

This is a very good hotel with a long history and is built in a traditional period building overlooking the Hauptplatz. The location is part of the Linz Old Town (Die Linzer Altstadt) and is also what we were looking for, so that met our requirements perfectly. We had a good stay there. We want to note that their restaurant's breakfast service and food choices were all excellent. Thank you.

Pleasant old style hotel right in the main square - good breakfast in a pleasant sunny room. Lots of places to eat. Access from the Hauptbahnhof is by tram - any tram goes to Hauptstrasse. If you are in Linz to see the town itself, stay here.

Fantastic hotel. It use to be a Monastery. I loved.how it uses keys to the rooms and you turn in the keys everytime you leave. The staff were amazing and nice. Only downfall is there is not safe in the room and no elevator from ground floor to reception desk.
