Great facilities onsite but a little dated, on balance good value for money

Not my fave! Wouldn’t go back. Workers are very nice but don’t expect Cancun-style

Prainha Clube was perfect for our family ! The pools, the beach, and the restaurant were great! Our apartment made it perfect in case we wanted to stay in for dinner or breakfast. I really recommend it

Prainha Club has a very nice pool and beach and is within 5 minutes by car from touristic busy areas like Praia de Rocha or Alvor. The property itself is good but need refurbishment or upgrade, the system of the property needs to be upgraded, we are in 2024, we are not suppose to print rules & regulations and give this to customers on arrival. Charging fees for safe box in rooms is not acceptance. Wearing bands all day during the stay is not seen anywhere before. No porter to help you with bags, they said they removed them during Covid and haven’t hired them back. When you pay a high price for a room, you expect a certain service to be provided, specially that rooms are not cleaned everyday, it’s once every 3 days. If they refurnish and upgrade their policies, this property will be like paradise!

Staff were very friendly & helpful - especially Nuno at Reception & staff/mgmt in pool bar resteraunt. Room was very spacious & comfortable - too many tables though. Lots of pool choices but they are in need of repair/maintenance. Not a very buggy friendly walk to Atlantic Pool Bar or Beach Food very tasty You need to get taxis to Alvor - 7E approx each way

Staff were amazing. Wayfinding around the resort was a touch confusing and the beach access a challenge but minor compared to the overall experience which was great

I love the position and the swimming pool is beautiful. The hotel is very tired though and the facilities are poor. Position is great and I would stay there again as amenities are available elsewhere. There are no recycling facilities which is a shame.

Lovely quiet site with all amenities- supermarket, excellent restaurant, safe for teens to walk to and fro wonderful beach- staff very helpful and friendly

The hotel was just in the process of being painted for the summer and was very quiet. The area is undergoing a lot of development but there are nice beaches and quiet places if you have a car. We had a one bedroom suite which felt slightly dated but fittings were in good condition and it had a nice balcony and view. The grounds are extensive with 2 pools a cave type beach bar, great little cove beach, cliffs and large grass areas. There was also a playground and tennis courts. The kitchen was adequate for occasional meals but had no proper oven and the two electric rings performed poorly, Slight annoyances were the coffee maker needed you to purchase their coffee pods, no free wi- fi in the room and they wanted 15 euros a week for the safe. We were a single couple but this would be a great place for a family as long as you have a car or just want to stay on site.

The prainha clube is very well located and the facility by itself is great. Here's the bad comment about this place. The breakfast wasn't very good and too expensive. We stay there 2 nights and weren't capable to sleep due to a very uncomfortable mattress. You know when you feel the spring and my wife weight only 105lbs.. we informed the staff the next morning and they didn't do anything... very bad experience

We arrived well after midnight and had no trouble checking in. The rooms are clean and adequately furnished. We received clean sheets and towels during our 6 day stay and the main room and bathroom was cleaned every day except Sunday. The kitchen area is for the guest to do. Kettle, hob, microwave and coffee maker supplied but no toaster and tea cups not mugs which came as a surprise. The shop on site has everything you need and is open every day. Meals can be taken in the hotel or at restaurants on site. The fantastic beach is a short walk and quite a few steps (a lift is available when the restaurant is open but there are still steps top and bottom) away.

Have stayed here a couple of times before, but thought the apartment facilities were shabby and antiquated. Not happy to pay for wifi.

Outstanding location, the Atlantic pool is a gem. Rooms kept very clean and with contemporary decorative styling were very pleasant. Some areas around the complex require maintenance and could do with some TLC. Stayed in August 2015 for 2 weeks. Close to golf, and all the fantastic beaches. Would stay again.

Cliff pool was very nice however the restaurant/bar extremely slow and understaffed. Rooms were cleaned 6 days a week with fresh towels. Hotel a bit tired and boring!

Fantastic location views and grounds and glad we stayed. Downside: Desk staff amazingly ignorant about surrounding area and were no help. Charged for every little thing including chaise by pool daily, wifi. Breakfast was only ok. These types of things were a pain but room and little terrace were neat. Loved the beach below.

I have visited this hotel on a number of occasions over the years and each time found it to be very nice, the hotel had a refurbish a couple of years ago, which it needed and the rooms are pleasantly fitted out. My only complaint was the room I was allocated, unfortunately was directly above the outside eating area of the restaurant and the continuous noise of chairs being dragged along the concrete floor , which cannot be helped as people move chairs to sit down, can disturb you from early in the morning and again if you want to take a nap during the day/ early evening. unfortunately I think room 405 is only one of the rooms that the bedroom overlooks the pool/dining area of the hotel, all other rooms- the bedrooms are situated on the opposite side of the restaurant, overlooking the main entrance, where you are not disturbed. The reception staff are incredibly helpful and speak very good english, not forgetting the chalet maids who always welcome you with a smile and would find someone straight away to assist if they could not understand you. All in all a lovely place to visit and stay, the complex offers everything you need for a holiday, grocery store, 2 pools, restaurants and peace and tranquility at the same time. I highly receommed this hotel.

The whole complex was great, bearing in mind that we were there very early season and there were very few people there. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable , not enough choice of dishes, cups etc. The room was spacious and kept clean. The TV was great and all the other furniture in the room was of a reasonable standard. The WIFI is very expensive and should be free to encourage more clientele.

Enjoyed staying they could do with some info in rooms but staff very helpful
