Beautiful, charming, old hotel that looks like it used to be an apartment. The rating is primarily due to the customer service. They have very strange reception desk hours and they will just change whenever they feel like it. Checkin time is really late at 4pm. We arrived around 2:30 and they wanted to charge us 15 euros just to hold our luggage for an hour. We felt nickel and dimed. Also, checkout is earlier than most hotels at 11am and they aren’t flexible. If they change their customer service, the place would have a lot of potential.

The property while nice, was not what was advertised. Four people would have been quite a squeeze, there was no way any more could have stayed in that apartment.

Excellente localisation.

( Stayed in a twin suite ) Perfect Hotel for families wanting to visit Paris with the ability to cook themselves and have spacious rooms. This hotel is in a perfect location with a metro station less than five minutes walk away and a French bakery and supermarket within one minutes walk. Within the room the kitchen is very small but still, you have enough space to do basic cooking as it’s equipped with a microwave, sink, hobs and most importantly a dishwasher ( this is good because in most hotels you have to wash manually ). The bathroom is ok as when I checked in the drain would not open and was blocking the sink, but nevertheless good. Equipped with a hair dryer and shampoos , it is good enough for a short stay. The room had lots of plugpoints ( for european plugs ) but the flooring in the first room ( living room / bedroom with sofa bed ) was a bit slippery generally. Other than a few issues though, a very good hotel.

The worst welcome I have ever had to a hotel. Arriving at 10 at night & pressing the buzzer to get in (which wasn't making a sound), the owner eventually appeared and shouted at me. I honestly thought that he wasn't going to let me in and was very abusive. The apartment itself is pretty cramped and seedy: very stained carpets, uncomfortable bed although linens and bathroom were clean. It wasn't at the cheap end and the photos are mislead. Overall, I would avoid and find somewhere better and where your custom will be valued. Wifi didn't work either (some really complicated connection needed),

The apartment was very quiet and the beds (including sofa bed) very comfortable, so we had a good rest every night. There was service every day except Sunday, which was very practical. The size of the bedrooms and bathrooms was good, only the kitchen was a little small for us. It had stove, microwave, Nespresso coffe machine and fridge but lacked a wine bottle opener. It was sufficient for quick/ easy to prepare meals but would not be practical for more serious cooking.

Our first time to visit Paris and we are happy with the hotel the rooms are big and I love the parisian look of the place. Very quiet neighborhood and easy access to metro, grocery store and restaurants. The room at the back you can see a glimpse of the lighted eiffel tower at night so beautiful!

Cozy throwback--clean, convenient and quiet. The only complaint? The soap/shampoo was pretty miniscule and the maids ended up throwing away mine, so, I had to run around the corner to replace them. Otherwise, have on the list for the next trip to Paris.

It was a very pleasant stay. I enjoyed the comfort of the apartment and the possibility to walk to the OECD premises where I had the meetings. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was great for our visit to Parc Des Princes and it's only 2 mins from the Metro. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful. Room was spacious but very tired and needs complete refurbishment. However, everything worked and it was comfortable.

The sofabed was made up and packed away so when we entered we thought we were a bed short (family of four - kids in the twin beds in the main bedroom, parents on the sofabed in the living/dining room). The toaster fused on day 1 but was replaced on the same day. The main lights in the bathroom stopped working on day 2, but we just used the mirror light. The shower is fab, the kitchen is very good. The neighbourhood is a daily trek on the Metro but worth it for a quiet and relaxed area with nice restaurants, shops and architecture. The out-of-hours arrival arrangements are brilliant, the receptionist is wonderful. The place is a lovely C19th building with a truly wonderful old lift and a beautiful fireplace in our apartment. The courtyard garden is lovely too. I would definitely recommend this place. Even with a 30% discount this was about double what I have paid for a week in much more palatial self-catering apartments in the UK; I am assuming it is Paris prices that drive this up.

The apartment that I stayed in is old, with ruined furniture and dirty carpet. There was no hot water supply on the first night. As there was no staff available at the counter after office hour, I have to call the manager. Without actually listening or checking for details, she raised her voice and immediately denied what I have told her, by insisting that there was hot water two hours ago. I tried very hard to reasoning with her and finally, half an hour later, an assistant came to check. When she confirmed that indeed there was no hot water, the manager did not call to apology or explain. We waited for another hour and then the son of the owner called me and told me we might need to wait for another 2 or 3 hours for the supply to back to normal. But it was nearly 11pm at night. So we (including my two children) ended up having cold shower in the middle of a winter night. But the worst was yet to come. The following morning, the manager insisted she wanted to have a word with me when I tried to ignore her. The funny part was, she was not there to apology but to accuse me for not waiting:"You should have waited for the hot water, we do tell you to wait!" So, we never have the proper explanation nor the apology that we ought to have, or I thought we should have. This is the worst experience I have. And I wonder how could this hotel was rated so high with this kind of service and facilities?

Great room. Slightly pricy but nice room like a home. Late checkin has no front desk. Clean room and well maintained. Staff was helpful. Close to metro station. Safe area even in the night.

Excellent trip, very safe upmarket area in Paris about a 25min walk from the Trocadero (Effile tower) it's very close to a bakery, metro and convience store around the corner for essentials (wine), the apartment was a nice size for 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. We only slept there and made breakfast as we were out all day discovering Paris, but it was nice to come back to home comforts. Bathroom was spotlessly clean with a great powerful shower and lovely soft towels. (What, I like nice towels)the kitchen was bijou but had everything you could possibly ever need. The apartment is decorated with very well made antique style furniture, very French, yet feels very modern with bright colours and stylish fittings. Beds were extremely comfortable especially the huge sofa bed Free wifi, TV and DVD player included .We only got to see the management when checking in and out, as I said we were not there during the day, and did not require there help with anything so I cant comment on them, but they all seemed plesent. The cleaners are excellent. This is a very well managed serviced aparthotel and not a conventional hotel, but it was perfect for our stay in Paris and would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again. Tip: if travelling with kids get your provisions (picnic)for the day in the local shops before you leave as the supermarkets are few and far between in central Paris and things like water and soft drinks are way more expensive.
