The best hotel ever

The location was good for our visit. The hotel itself is serviceable enough, but we had several issues. The main concern was evidence of a previous bed bug infestation, tiny room, poor internet, barely warm water for showers and continual elevator breakdowns. In the end, Manhattan accommodation is expensive and this was a cheaper option. Rooms are small, the TV won't work and for us, the internet access required a hot spot to be placed in the room, which worked for only a few days. It is located in Korea Town, food options are plenty and subway options have multiple stations within 2 minutes walking distance. For a longer stay like us, it was a 3 block walk to a laundromat which was handy. In short, it was convenient but rough accommodation. I would not stay there myself ever again, but I would recommend if your budget was tight. My suggestion would be to spend less days in Manhattan and use the money saved to spend on better quality options. One highlight is the 14th Floor bar. Check it out, it's small but has a fantastic view of empire state building from the rooftop bar (it's independent to the hotel) but access is via the elevators (when they work).

Need update

I really wanted to give t his hotel a better score. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great. But the thermostat in our room didnt work. It took 3 showers to get warm water. And it was the loudest room ive ever slept, or rather didnt sleep in. You could hear a full conversation in the street.

Excellent location. Room was small but clean. Only complaint was that the doors slam very loudly and you can hear it in your room. Wil return though

Flexible and friendly staff. Clean, quiet and comfortable room.

The hotel is in good condition for its age. The staff was great and helpful. However, the businesses around the hotel were the source of noise after dark. This hotel is surround by Korean restaurants.

My family loved the location and the staff. The mattress was very comfortable and inviting. On top is a wonderful dining/bar with an amazing staff, open terrace and wonderful view of The Empire State building from one black away.

Awesome location, friendly staff and great for your money. Would stay again. It's loud at night but that's NY 🙂

Tough with just one slow tiny elevator working.

Clean reasonably priced hotel in a great area.

This was a huge let down! Pricey, and smelled like weed. Room was super noisy and dirty.

Nice neighborhood, very convenient with lots of public transit option. Rooms were a little small, and old, with limited views (understandable for nyc).

hot water did not work

I’ve stayed at this hotel previously and was glad to stay again. The location is excellent if you’re looking for a hotel in a walkable location to quickly get to local shops, stores, or convenience stores, this hotel is a great place to stay at! And the hotel is clean and the staff is great.
