Elegant & comfortable with warmth Staff were excellent

Excellent hotel with every necessary luxury available. Breakfast on the terrace is great with a big garden to use, with shade and sun. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is very quiet and is only a short walk to bars and restaurants in the town centre. Would definitely return

What a magical hotel!! It was the summer mansion of a Baron and you are treated like royalty! Parking is right in front of the entrance. The staff insisted on bringing in our bags and then accommodated my 80 yr old husband's mobility issue with a ground floor room. I cannot rave enough about our room. It was filled with antiques, a canopy like bed with matching wallpaper and I felt like a Baroness in the room. It overlooked the beautiful garden with large windows and just total elegance. The bathroom was large with a fabulous bathtub/shower with beautiful tiles. The A/C worked well and the beds were very comfortable as well as being beautiful. The staff gave us recommendations for dinner and we walked into town to a fantastic Italian restaurant. Breakfast was amazing - everything you could want and even had champagne to make mimosas with the orange juice if you wanted. It's served in the Baron's dining room with wooden carved fruit around the window frames and coffered ceiling. It was the most luxurious hotel of our trip and we will definitely return to explore Baden Baden more. Don't miss this hotel - it's a gem.

We booked this hotel for 2 main reasons: near the town centre; parking with EV charging. Parking was fine. EV charging a little strange as a bank of 2 Tesla + 2 other chargers were all at the side of the hotel, with only room for 2 cars, but the need to shuffle cars when 1 finished first. The fixed charge of €50 was bit steep. They charge pro-rata for less than 100%, but it is not metered. The location is great, within easy walking distance of the town centre. The hotel goes a bit overboard with the Belle Epoque look inside. It is a bit over fussy. Our room was on the top floor, with winding stairs and no lift. The air conditioning did not work, and we were moved to a slightly larger room. The bathrooms are miniscule. There is no restaurant (although a very good breakfast), but you can walk to the sister hotel for dinner. There is no bar and little service throughout the day.

This was a very pleasant stay. Excellent location. The breakfast was excellent and you could eat until 11 am. Very tasteful rooms and garden. The one negative point was that the hotel charge 26 Euro for overnight car parking. I only found out when I arrived. Also be aware the Hotel has no lifts. So if your room is on the second floor you should be able to climb stairs. Overall a perfect place to stay in Baden Baden.

The front-desk person was terrific. He readily and satisfactorily answered all our queries and requests. It is well located and replete with old-world charm.

Best place ever. We come almost every year since 2010 except during Covid… Everything was exceptional…

Superb place very friendly staff great location amazing rooms

We booked a superior twin for extra room but the room was above a garage door on rollers used frequently from 7am onwards which was very noisy and woke us every morning and during the day if we tried to nap. The hotel also only serves braakfast so no dinner available. Pity because the hotel was lovely, location ideal and staff nice.

Wonderful staff, owner, and hotel

Staff was great. At first the room appears charming and luxurious. But: floors were creaking very loud, the toilet had no door and when flushing it seems to fall apart. Bed was soft and basic, pillows second or inn grade. WiFi was spotty and slow. No coffee or tea in the room and tv was a small monitor. An insect was buzzing at the light. All the beautiful furniture seems to have to purpose other than decorative. It was quiet outside and the location was great.

The entire team was wonderful, friendly, courteous and so very helpful during my stay. I truly look forward to returning in the future! Thank you again!!

Outstanding hotel within walking distance of centre of Baden Baden. Belle Epoque is a very appropriate name. Our stay felt like a step back in time. Pure luxury. Welcoming & attentive staff

The Belle Epoque is a very good hotel very close to the Lichtentaler Allee, the Gönneranlagen rose garden (note, this is not the Rosenneuheiten garden), the Brenner Parkhotel and the town museum, and not far from the Kurhaus, town centre and Friedrichsbad and Caracalla baths. The rooms are very attractive and the service is excellent. There is a very pretty garden, and one can have breakfast on the terrace as well as in the beautiful dining room. Although not an old hotel, I concluded that the Belle Epoque was probably closer in feel to a period hotel than the actual old hotels I visited or saw from the outside. Excellent.
