We booked this hotel a few days before we came to Siena as we decided to stay instead of driving back to Pisa the same day. We're really glad we did. It's a lovely hotel. Ideally situated at the bottom of the hill with a bus stop to go up the hill to the old town a few metres away. We had a couple of chilled hours relaxing by the pool in the afternoon when we arrived before tackling the old town in the evening.
Our room was at the front, and in hindsight we should have booked a garden view, but with the windows closed and the air conditioning on, it wasn't too noisy, a car alarm went off a couple of times during the night, but I would assume that all rooms heard that.
