First class hotel. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. The facilities were above and beyond our expectations. The location couldn’t have been better. In all, it was an unparalleled experience and I can’t recommend Hotel Sonnblick highly enough.

Amazing Hotel, even better reception desk. The staff (Livia and Roman) are extremely friendly and answered all questions patiently. Hotel itself is within walking distance to all the local shopping, transportation, and restaurants!

The Hotel was fantastic , perfect location , clean and tidy with great staff . Breakfast was amazing , everything you needed to set you up for a good days skiing . All the staff were very friendly and helpful , we looked forward to a few drinks every evening in the hotel bar where we were greeted by Elish who had a great sense of humour and looked after us very well .

The Spa facilities are superb and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable

Hotel very convenient for ski bus. Overall the stay was very good, staff pleasant, attentive and very helpful. On the downside there were Minimum toiletries in the bedroom and pillows on bed very uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed the stay here. Booking in was quick, pleasant and efficient and we were soon in our room at the front of the hotel. The room had a huge balcony and had magnificent views towards the mountains beside Zell-am-See. There was a good selection at breakfast and there was plenty of food even at the end of service. The hotel is easy walking distance of the centre of Kaprun and for skiers the bus to Kitzsteinhorn stopped almost opposite.

Travelling with two young children we were looking for a comfortable and well equipped hotel close to the slopes. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. The food was excellent with a vast selection for breakfast and a high standard 3 course meal for dinner. The facilities at the hotel were also very good with a wellness suite offering sauna, whirlpool, relaxation areas and outdoor heated pool all available for no extra charge. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable - our only criticism being that the decor was a bit tired and dated. But all in all an excellent base for skiing - we would certainly recommend to other families and will look to return ourselves in future years.

We had a really great experience with this hotel. we stayed for two nights but we got a good impression from the time.we check in. The staff are great and very accommodating and kind enough to upgrade us to family suit without paying extra money. They also include gifts such as the kaprun summer card that give us free entrance to some attractions in the area which I could say save us a lot of euros.There's also the free snacks in the afternoon with cakes that taste delicious.The swimming pool is a bit small though so if there's 10 people who want to swim it becomes a bit crowded but the good thing is there's a sauna that you can use if you want to relax and get away from the crowd.

The staff at the hotel were welcoming and friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself, was typically Austrian and very clean. There were three of us staying and our room was an adequate size, although our balcony was very small (struggled to get three of us seated), and was in desperate need of updating. The food was very tasty and there was lots of choice. We will certainly be going back there.
