The hotel was nice staff friendly but our room had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. I was meant to be in a non smoking room and was quite disappointed when i walked into the room as the smell was very strong. I think its more stale smell than a recent one.

They should modify the hotel presentation: shuttle available means we call you a taxi. I’ve payed at hotel 25€ for taxi, and the taxi was booked for 4 people. I’ve choose ghat hotel just because they had shuttle available… it’s a dissapointment for Van Der Valk chain.

Exceeded my expectations, felt safe as a female traveler. Bathroom setup was a bit weird and had a see through foggy door by the bed 😬 but honestly not an issue. The shower flooded the bathroom floor a little but that’s to be expected in Europe. Close to the airport and had a restaurant. If you’re used to Hiltons and holiday inns it is comparable. Floor was a little stained but nothing bad. I would come back to this hotel again. Hotel gave us free bon bons. You’re welcome for the shower door pic😂

Chef to show up yo make eggs was about 15 minutes . Good I did not need to be somewhere

Great room nice hotel

Best food options for breakfast I have ever seen. The staff were all friendly and multi lingual. Easy free parking and the room was perfect. Noting bad to say for once.

Room on the third floor with balcony was lovely

The room was excellent and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The bon bons and bottled water and sparkling water were very much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and the hotel staff was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was very friendly. My daughter accidentally left her airpods and didnt realize til we were at the airport. She emailed the facility, they found them and offered to hold them and provided a delivery service where she was able to have them arranged to mail back to the states. It was very much appreciated!

Compared to other van der valk, it is way off level. Old and bad service

Air conditioning didn’t work had to move around after several people try to fix it by the time it was 8:30 PM no offer to help me although the room they gave me was close by there were things in that room that were left over from the people that were before me, I did not receive a fresh towel for three days, even though my light was on

Excellent location and restaurant

Always come back here when on business in Belgium. It’s a 5 minute drive from Charleroi Airport which is South Brussels. The team here are always friendly and helpful and the restaurant is always busy and offers great food and drinks. It seems to be a popular spot for local residents too which says a lot about the quality of eatery. Rooms are generous size and parking on site is easy. We often use it as base too when heading back to the airport to catch a flight as you can wander in and have a cup of tea whilst catching up on some work. Will 100% use this hotel every time we are back in Belgium in this area.
