Great location...friendly staff

When We booked the hotel the price was $441.00 when I got my billing statement it was raised to $789.00. There is no way I would have paid that for this hotel. We could barely walk in the very small room. The bathroom was so small that you couldn't take a shower and dry yourself off in there, you had to go into the main room. The toilet was dirty, the floors sticky. We had a non smoking room but the whole hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Amazing rooftop view. Metro pass is a must. 1/2 hour walk to Vatican (easy). Somewhat limited dining options in the area. Don't stay here if you're looking for the clubs. I enjoyed my nightlife on the roof.

Very good location. Bed low to the ground but comfortable. Private bathroom was very spacious and enjoyable large jetted tub. Refrigerator and Wi-Fi were good. Rooftop at night was very romantic.

Great hotel. Over all excellent. Would have been five stars on condition but the gym was out of order owing to some water damage caused by previous guests. I wish I could give 3.75 stars out of 5 on condition because it was an issue for me but I didn’t think it was worth docking 2 full stars. The hotel is great and I have no doubt that I would have given a full 5 stars on condition had the gym been available. Condition was top notch otherwise. Would stay again

Properties located in a prime location. A lot of nice stores around. Close to all attractions. But going into the hotel reception is located on the fourth floor elevator you have to take a few steps up and the elevator only holds up to 2 people and barely has room for suitcases so if you’re travelling with large suitcases you will not fit. But otherwise staff is great and the service was great.

Close proximity to Vatican City (i.e., 10-minute walk). Many local patio restaurants and conventional retail shopping on adjacent streets. Close to major subway and bus stops to allow access to the entire city. Helpful staff and clean rooms.

Staff was great, very clean. Was looking for a place close to the Vatican and this was an easy 20 to 25 minute walk

Great safe location with many bars restaurants close by. Room great, & cleaned every day. Staff very friendly & helpful & nice rooftop terrace. Overall a very pleasant stay. Peter H.

The room we had was small but was clean. We got a basic room so nothing fancy. I liked the area and was very walkable to many things close by and was accessible to many places to eat and markets and pharmacies. The staff were nice and had a roof top which was relaxing. We moved from this hotel to napoleon hotel from our original plans but knowing what we know now we would have stayed there longer compared to the napoleon hotel which was the direct opposite of this hotel. If I were to give a piece of advice stay in Vatican City and be very cautious of where in Rome you go. At napoleon there was much around to do and was dirty but at hotel papi was clean and safe and had many things within 15 minutes of walking or less.

Staff was helpful when we needed their assistance. This hotel is close to many restaurants and walkable to popular places. Having them assist with 24 hour shuttle transfer to and from airport was great.

Fantastic friendly service. Great breakfast and the building and rooms immaculate. Wonderfully recommend to anyone.

Very centrally located, rooms were small but clean

The hotel is very conveniently located just a few blocks away from the Vatican. I found the staff to be very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was great! The rooms were clean, but the bathroom was incredibly small.

The decor was outstanding. Old fashion in the stairwell and modern in the rooms
