Clean room, comfy bed. Perfect for a couple of nights

Although it is an old building in the center of Nantes, the place have been reconditioned to match the theme of the city: Jules Verne, and it creates a cute atmosphere for the guests. The staff is super nice and helpful, always trying to make your trip special. Location wise, it cannot get any better than this... very clore to restaurants, and the cutest city center.

All the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is decorated in the theme of Jules Verne!! They allowed us to store our luggage after check out, and even use the lounge and refreshment facilities.

The only thing is the property don’t have parking on site but there is a public parking two blocks away

Nantes is a wonderful city with lots to see. The caring staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful with my wife and I finding all the right sites, very good meal recommendations and in general made our stay just that much more pleasant.

The hotel was near restaurants. The room was very tight. For one person it is fine but two would be too small.

The hotel is well situated for central Nantes, a short distance from Tram line 1 which runs to the train station. There are lots of good bars and restaurants in the surrounding Graslin quarter. However, this does mean the streets are noisy at night! Before arriving, we were offered the chance to 'upgrade' our room to an air-conditioned one, for an extra 10€ per night. As we live in France and are used to the climate, not using our a/c at home unless the temp is 35°+, we declined on environmental grounds. Unfortunately this meant that our 2nd floor room suffered from street noise if we opened the window or became very airless if we didn't. We had very little sleep during our 4 night stay. The hotel also lacked attention to small details - no muesli at breakfast after Day 1, no replenishment of welcome tray, tissues or spare toilet roll. However, chilled water was freely available. Staff were pleasant but overall we would choose another hotel next time we are in Nantes.

The hotel is themed after Jules Verne and so it feels very quirky and colourful, and really feels more like a boutique hotel without the price. Room was really nice, bed was incredibly comfy (more so than at home), staff were really friendly and helpful. Hotel is centrally located and anything else can be reached by the tram stop a few minutes walk away.

Such amazing Jules Verne details all around the hotel really make it feel special. Free refreshments a nice touch. Spotless and great staff. Would thoroughly recommend but would get a bigger room next time as only downside was comfort room very small.

The space of the room is larger than the other Best Western Hotels we stayed during our trip. However we had problems communicating with the receptionist.
