All ok

This is very cute and tranquil holiday spot. We had a great time enjoying the pool, taking trails. The room was spacious, clean and nice with a gorgeous view. I can see how some facilities could be updated, but it didn’t affected our stay, we loved the place.

Overall the hotel was good , but some of the facilities need updating for example the spa. I didn't stay for dinner but the breakfast was average and I would recommend upgrading to barista coffee which is available for a Euro

Not sure what to say? I think it is a good 3 star hotel, not 4star at all. It is really 80's and dated and in desperate need of a refresh. I mean the view is spectacular, and they have parking. It smells like a local swimming baths of chlorine and the rooms smell of drains - the breakfast is minimum and the rooms are basic.

Prior to my stay i was a little concerned about reviews (as i found it was of mixed opinion) and the photos, being a little dated. However we picked the hotel as it was convenient visiting my family. However, the hotel surprised me, it was clean, warm, and whilst a little dated from what we are used to, was absolutely fine, and its character just added to its charm! Breakfast was absolutely fine, our kids loved it. We had an evening meal there too and that was lovely. Staff were friendly. Oh and the view from our panoramic room was incredible! We will definitely be coming back again in the summer so we can make use of the outdoor pool!

Terrible - room not as booked nor advertised- 2 singles pushed together pretend double . Changed to other room to sort - exactly the same ! Tried to book dinner - no space in restaurant despite isolated location - hotel has halved capacity and halved time for restaurant - result guests can’t eat dinner

This was a really nice low key hotel with great views out onto lake Cabril. It was comfortable with good amenities and a good price. Highly recomended

The hotel was amazing. Where it was situated the scenery was breath taking .amazing people and very polite. 5 stars on a 4 star hotel.

Incredible setting for a great hotel. Stayed 2 nights as part of a motorbike tour of Portugal.

Spectacular mountains/lake view, the best in central Portugal we have ever visited. It was very relaxing, there is a good size pool and rather small but adequate spa facilities. Staff was welcoming, helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was good. We had a few great walks in the area and enjoyed gentle breeze from the mountains and sunshine. Will definitely return next year and will bring friends with us to enjoy his unique hotel

The location had beautiful views down to the dam and reservoir. Very scenic. The pool was lovely. Outside chaises were black in color - carried too much heat. Bathroom layout was very awkward requiring that one straddle the corner of the bathtub to sit on toilet! I told the front desk and they were well aware. Maybe a future renovation would fix the issue.

Lovely hotel location. Beautiful views. Not a good selection of food in restaurant. Need more staff to cope with diners. Hotel needs a renovation as a little dated and scruffy in places. Shower was awful, nothing more than a dribble. Overall i would stay again but would expect a lot better offering. The building works 9am until 5pm didnt help, but I understand this has to be done at some point, but Easter weekend probably not the best choice.

Large and comfortable bed. Good sized room. Excellent views. Friendly service. 3 hour time slot to take breakfast with a good choice of food.

The hotel was nice and comfortable. It was quiet time of year so the hotel didnt have too many guests, which was expected. The hotel and restaurant was in a lovely setting, nice panoramic views. Breakfast was ok (coffee not to my taste!).. the restaurant was very quiet and although the food was nice, it lacked atmosphere. Overall very good value for money and we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel with a great location and facilities. The rooms need some improvement (new mattresses basically) and the gym could be bigger and have AC (there are 4 machines and that's it, without AC). The swimming pool is big and the scenery is beautiful, surrounded by the mountains and the river.

It was a very nice experience. The hotel have a greay view and are very confortable.
