They pushed me to upgrade to a Suite River view with almost double the price since they couldn't provide me the room for early check-in. The jacuzzi in the suite was never working. They asked many people to come and fix it, but no one could.

The hotel is good, staff is friendly… great experience

The location is in a row of pearl towers. Everything is clean. The food is very delicious, especially the pork loin. The service is okay, only some staff can't speak English well.

Nice hotel and location is very good

Don't get me wrong, this hotel is perfect. The views, the location, the comfort. But the rules for the deposit were very shady. Be careful; even after paying 100% for the hotel, you will be asked for a deposit of 4,900 CNY (IDR 11 million)! Yes, you heard that right, 4,900 CNY! They are trying to rip me off! As a foreigner in China, I felt very uncomfortable. I spoke to the receptionist, asking if this was really the rule and what it was for. He clearly couldn't give me an answer and then tried to ask for a 2,000 CNY deposit instead. Terrible customer service. Be aware and beware.

环境，地理位置都很好，离东方明珠很近，江景房很棒，但是对于服务水准还有提升空间，某天晚上我们房间接到投诉说是夜深了我们房间电视声很大，前前后后还是好几个电话，还有大堂经理的深夜到访，用让我不是很舒服的眼神搜索房间内，很肯定的被告诉他在门口亲耳听见我们房间传出的“嘣嘣嘣的” 声音 ，我们也纳闷哪里来的声音，怎么就这么肯定是我们房间呢？ 为了维护客人的安静和休息真的算是很尽力，几番努力才能被送来真正大堂经理的名片，感谢酒店给到的服务。

Convenient travel, peaceful, no hassle.

Nice view, close to shanghai tv tower, clean, huge room. Very recommended.....

The hotel is very convenient for us as family traveler. Near the metro station (Lujiazui station). So basically you can go everywhere in Shanghai from the hotel. The breakfast was very good, they're starting earlier at 6am which usually other hotel opened at 6.30am. The room (deluxe) was spacious, although the cabinet a little bit old. But we enjoyed our stay at the grand kempinski shanghai. We definitely will go back there.

Good place and good service. The breakfast also good, many option about meal. Near from Pearl TV Tower. Overall is good.

Fabulous view from deluxe bund... eye catching. Excellent room more than expected. Near Pearl Tower and Shanghai Ocean. Not too far from mrt exit2. Next building in DBS there is Family Mart and some food. Find good view also from fitness centre or whirpool or pool.

A very nice hotel, service was good. shopping mall and sight seeing was nearly.

Every things is worth the price. if I could I will come back again

great location, close to metro station Liujiazui, about 8-10 minute walk, wealth bund, pearl tower, shanghai aquarium, "sightseeing bus" stop. nice pool view on 30th floor

good hotel and good location for sightseeing and also the shopping mall on super brand mall. hotel was clean, breakfast was complete. Service was good.
