Food, staff and public areas were excellent, however our room on the 4th floor was furnished with a very old Wardrobe, a very old chair and bedside tables. Many door and drawer handles were missing. The wardrobe doors needed fiddling to close them. The arm on the chair was broken. Regarding the 4th floor location the seagulls need to be dealt with. The dawn chorus from them was not what was needed on our stay.

This hotel was magical. Set in the sweetest, quaint, idealic town. The staff was amazing. It was the best stay

There was no A/C in the room, and even though the heater was off inside, the heater in the 4th-floor corridor was on, making the room extremely hot. We had to open the windows and move the bed closer to get some fresh air. The heat made it difficult to sleep. The shower only had hot water—no cold option—and there was no fridge to keep drinks cool, so we had to put them outside the window. It was just hot, hot, hot everywhere! Other than that, everything else was nice. We stayed for a week, and parking was easy. Not every day was a buffet—some days there was a buffet, and other days meals were served from a menu. The food at the bar and restaurant was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly.
