Lots of wonderful history in this hotel. Excellent room and service. Absolutely loved it !

Breakfast was pretty average and rooms very nice and clean. Staff was very quiet - could have been a bit more welcoming but we had limited interaction so not a huge deal.

Lovely setting, we were treated to small treats just after moving into room. Breakfast was a sumptuous outlay.

Highly recommended, excellent historic preservation with modern style done with quality.

Great hotel, great breakfast, great bar but unfortunately the restaurant for evening dinner wasn't as good - too bright and some of the food items on the menu felt like an experimenting chef was in charge

Very nice building with good facilities. Decided to upgrade to mezzanine suite described as soundproofed rooms however the corner room assigned was affected by traffic noise from two sides. Cleaned cobwebs off windowsill. Upgrade fee was thankfully refunded. Helpful desk staff. Dinner was pricey and oversalted.

The customer service was outstanding, front desk and management are doing a great job to ensure your guests have the best experience, from the fresh organic apples at the reception to the staff that is available and open to answer any questions and help you with a smile. Thank you for your flexibility and everything you did for us.

A Stylish Stay in a Historic Setting This charming boutique hotel, thoughtfully converted from a former hospital, beautifully balances crisp modern design with a sense of heritage. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with a generous layout and a very comfortable bed—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. While we did encounter some inconsistencies with the hot water during our stay, a strong espresso at breakfast quickly revived us. Speaking of breakfast, the morning buffet was fresh, plentiful, and a lovely way to start the day. The hotel’s central location makes it ideal for exploring the town on foot, with many sights just a short stroll away. That said, the walk into town involves a number of steps, so it may pose a challenge for senior travelers or those with limited mobility. However, for guests with transport, the location is truly ideal. Overall, a delightful and stylish stay in a unique and memorable setting.

Fantastic stay. I would return

Simply the best overnight stay we’ve ever experienced on every level. Best staff, best property location, room, amenities, parking, the works. They even provided a special goodie box for our dog Murphy when we checked in, and bed and feeding dishes in the room.

Fun place to stay in isn’t middle of everything.
