We had the most wonderful stay at Sorriso! So much to do at the hotel you honestly don’t ever need to leave for a relaxing stay. We walked 3 minutes up the street and rented scooters for a day to go around the island. The hotel has shuttle service to the beach below. The restaurants were delicious, fresh, local and even a nightlife scene right at the hotel. The staff is so friendly and wonderful we just really had a relaxing stay. 10/10 experience!

a lovely hotel with easy access to the beach. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, our room was clean and the air conditioning was much needed. We enjoyed the breakfast and making use of the three swimming pools. would recommend!

Stayed in the annex which was less than a 2 minute walk from the main property. When we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful in helping us order taxis and gave great suggestions. The thermal pool was very relaxing and had a full bar outside to enjoy a drink while relaxing

We came to the hotel mainly because of the thermal pools (Which was the only one in Ischia in this season- November). The pools were great. However, the room was outdated, the bed and pillows were terrible, the shower is looking like 30 years old. Breakfast and dinner were basic. The coffee is from automatic machines and not tasty.

Beautiful resort

Didn’t think staff were very friendly. Very big hotel. Room outside main hotel. Mosquitos in the room, was bitten all over. No air conditioning.

Too remote for me , facility is nice but for me , too confined unless you want to go with car

Enjoyed our stay at Sorriso, staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area is lovely. We stayed in the annex building and found the room to be a little outdated, however, this seems to be relatively common for Ischia. Would recommend to others looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Forio.

It is very good hotel for visiting Giardini Poseidoni. There is shuttle to the beach , the rooms are fine. Beautiful view.

Excellent hotel

The resort is located on a hill overlooking Forio (on Iskea island). The view is amazing and the 3 thermal pools are great. Staff was friendly and resort was very clean. However, some of the front office staff were somewhat disorganized. Our bill wasn't ready when we were checking out and the hairdryer in the unit wasn't working and they were not able to replace it. Internet also was poor - which was an issue for me to be on several video calls. Overall, very nice place - but some operational issues (not sure if corona related) that needs to be ironed out.

Good thermal pool facilities. Good location. Breakfast could be better

Our family of four had such a nice, relaxing time at this resort. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with two twin beds and one king size bed. The resort facilities were neatly kept and designed to maximize the stunning views of the sea and sunset. There were a few quaint little shops and restaurants to explore within walking distance. The weather was cool, so it was the perfect time of year to enjoy the heated outdoor pools. This was our kids' favorite stop on our Amalfi Coast tour, and we would definitely go back.

We paid for a double comfort room. We were shown a room in a separate annex which had black mold on the ceiling. We were then shown another 4 rooms which were as equally as bad (most of the rooms were tired and smelt). We spent the first night in 1 of these rooms with an appalling smell and a rock hard bed. On the second day we were moved to another room which looked like if had been updated in the last few years (still with hard beds) but it resembled a room from a 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star hotel. The manager and reception staff were rude to us and were not accommodating. There are also extras for robes and towels which I wouldn’t expect from a 4 star spa hotel. On the last day when it came to checking out, the reception staff ignored us and served the Italians until they had to serve us. I find their behavior unacceptable. We felt very unwelcome at the hotel.

Not sure if we attended to the resort at the wrong time but it was basically a retirement community that nickle and dimes you for everything. Staff is unfriendly and unhelpful.

If you are after Quality beauty and health treatments- Sorriso is THE place. Wonderful facials, outstanding massages, and absolutely top professional no-mercy physio. I needed post-shoulder-operation recovery, and Sorriso spa intensive treatments worked miracles. Combined with mineral water swimming pools at the hotel and nearby Poseidon Park (fantastic..!) even a 9 day stay produced outstanding results. I didn’t care about little inconveniences like room size etc; the hotel is clean, lots of flowers, beautiful views- good value for money. Therefore I give Sorriso top score - with gratitude! Would definitely come again.
