great place

After staying in an absolute dump for two nights in Tennessee, arriving at the Waynesville Inn and Golf Club was like arriving in Heaven! It was sooooo peaceful, so quiet, so nice... such a relief to be in a CLEAN room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bar and grill have a limited, but decent, menu and breakfast is offered as well. Great service from Tony the bartender. Not a golfer, but this must be a very popular destination for golfers. The course looks beautiful. And just 30 minutes from Asheville — if one of you is a golfer and the other is not, don’t worry, you will have plenty to do in the area while the other is golfing!

The door to our room had frosted glass in it and a light right outside the door. There was no blind to block the light. It was hard to sleep.

Staff not trained and would not give receipt at checkout and never sent receipt.

Beautiful service and scenery!

We were on a lower floor and could hear every footstep upstairs even with two portable fans and a fan app running. Terrible sleep and we left after 1 night.

The staff is so friendly and genuine. I love how you can choose to have dinner here, enjoy the outdoor firepit, and then walk back to the guest house.

Low key vibe with a great recently redesigned golf course

In the morning at 6-7 am it is very noisy. Machines that cut the grass keep you awake in the morning. I couldn’t sleep because of the noise, so I didn’t like it. And I specifically asked to be put in a quiet room because I was coming to a wedding and I needed to get enough sleep before important events.

Excellent overall stay.

I reserved a room with a balcony and 2 queen beds but we were given a room with a king and no balcony. The bathroom door did not close. The employees were very nice and the food was very good.

New, modern, clean and well run. Will definitely stay here again

Restaurant area needs to be separate from the bar. Loud people at the bar made it difficult to enjoy a good dinner.

Everyone was so nice. I highly recommend staying here. It was peaceful and just as advertised. It was a little difficult to find where to check in, but they were adding signs.
