If you want seclusion away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Away from the main road, but with access to great lookouts and hiking paths! The property is a bit old but the staff care for it how they can. Expect waning luxury, but clean and livable rooms. It gets cold in the winter so bring some fluffy PJs. Staff is helpful and pleasant. Sometimes the jabalí show up--one was there during dinner.

The location is perfect & very isolated, The rooms are a good size & comfortable. Sadly the evening meals are a little lack lustre, considering there is nowhere else to go without a drive, on VERY dark roads. You would hope the food could showcase local produce, but no its a bit err average. We have stayed here several times & while everything else is lovely, the food is a let down.

Hotel Humaina is nestled in the middle of the mountains, far from any noise or disturbance. It allows one to disconnect from the stresses of life, and just relax. There is a nice patio where you can sit in the shade, or you can relax outside in front of the pool overlooking the mountains. There is a trail right outside the hotel that you can climb and have beautiful views overlooking the city of Malaga. The hotel is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There are only a limited number of rooms, so there are no large crowds to disturb the peace. Breakfast was free and was very nice. This hotel is highly recommended if you are looking for a place to get away from the city and bond with nature and enjoy the peace and quiet.

This hotel is great the the ultimate get away from everything, no phone or internet, thankfully the hotel has wifi, but only just. Its only 25km from the airport but will take you 50 mins to get there good luck with that one, never got out of 3rd gear.

The setting of this mountain hotel is increble. The drive to the hotel on narrow mountain roads was pretty exciting. There are nice trails and lots of birds. Best hotel of the trip!

Lovely stay at this rustic and charming hotel - excellent service and stunning setting in the Montes de Malaga Natural Park. The food in the restaurant was of a very high quality. Thank you to Juan and all the team for a wonderful weekend.

Ideal country retreat. Just what we needed after a week of city hopping. Mountain air, refreshing after city heat. Long mountain road with stunning views through the nstural park.

This hotel is in beautiful setting very tranquil until the weekends when the Spanish locals invade. Didn't mind the Spanish but unruly children treating pool like a stream throwing sticks, leaves and paper in it not on. No wonder the pool is filthy and I wouldn't like to bath in it. The rooms are very basic but kept spotlessly clean. The meals were ok and service very good only complaint the bread it was absolutely awful. The wild boars also add a interest.

Calm, peaceful, lovely setting, I found it easy to find, sign posted from quie a distance away, masses of wildlife, lovely walking area. Food really good, breakfast may not be to English taste, but I enjoyed it. The owner really helpful.

A little difficult to find the correct road at first, blame that on our sat nav. Well signposted on the main road, though a stated distance would have been helpful. We had a nice evening meal, the continental breakfast was OK, though not a lot of choice and the toaster took ages!

The hotel is very remote away from the city, high in the mountain. The GPS we had did not find it. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. No neighbors near the isolated location of fully functional and friendly hotel. I thought it was in middle of city. , my plans were to leave early in the morning and only stay the night. I did not now the distance from the center of Malaga. We will return to enjoy it more

Nice hotel for a short stay in the natural park of Malaga - apart from : Bad sign-posting made it very difficult to find the hotel which is located miles from the main road though the hills; Restaurant was very disappointing - food expensive bearing in mind the tiny portions served and not much choice; Swimming Pool (although too cold to use) was more like a big dirty pond !The Wi-Fi was fast it the public areas but didn't reach our room :-(

Perfect place to unwind, well worth the drive up through the national park. Reminded me of when I used to hitchhike and end up at an affordable comfortable hotel for the night. I loved its natural simplicity and would definitely return.
