I have been staying at Neelam The Grand since 2014, and I can confidently say that choosing this hotel has never felt like a wrong decision. Over the years, I have stayed here around 7–8 times between 2014 and 2026, and the experience has always been consistently good. The rooms are comfortable, well-equipped, and come with all the necessary amenities. The food is excellent, and the breakfast spread offers a good variety of options. The entire property is clean, well-maintained, and managed professionally. While I feel that the property is now showing its age and could benefit from some renovation, everything is still functioning perfectly. First-time guests are unlikely to notice any issues, as the hotel continues to maintain high standards. The staff deserves special appreciation. Everyone is courteous, helpful, and dedicated to ensuring guests have a pleasant stay. A special mention to the poolside team, who are always attentive and do a fantastic job maintaining the area. Overall, if you are looking for a premium stay experience at a reasonable budget in North Goa, Neelam The Grand is an excellent choice and a hotel I would happily recommend

The exterior of Hotel Neelam looks nice, and the location is convenient as it's close to the beach. However, my overall experience was disappointing. The reception area didn't have air conditioning, and there were a lot of mosquitoes, which made waiting there uncomfortable. The room also had insects and wasn't as clean as I expected. Considering the condition of the rooms, I felt the pricing was on the higher side. While the location is a plus, the cleanliness and maintenance need significant improvement.

I had a pleasant stay at Neelams The Grand. The hotel offers good value for money, especially considering its location in Calangute. The rooms and service were decent for the price. The breakfast was good with a nice variety. One of the best things about the hotel is the location — Calangute Beach is only about 1 km away, and there are many restaurants, shops, and activities nearby. Everything is within easy reach. Overall, it’s a good option for travelers looking for a comfortable stay in a prime location without spending too much.
