Beautiful spacious room, luxurious breakfast

Room was spotless, amenities fantastic , breakfast delicious.I was in the loft room because I preferred a king size bed over 2 singles. (A Very busy 6 nights, with last minute reservations)!! The room has skylights and no windows with view . The tv on the wall default setting is the view the room would have if it had windows . The “complaint” from a number of guests is that the hot water appears to be on a timer, or something, and hot showers were less available than desired - tepid water shower on chilly days is a drag.

We really enjoyed our last minute stay at the Imperial as it was our plan to make it to Rijeka but it was a very dark and eainy night. Our attic room was a huge surprise and was spacious and cozy. The breakfast was phenomenal! The best display of so many food options that we really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful sea view. Wonderful breakfast and dinner. A old grand hotel that truly reflects the history of the area.

Grand old hotel, nice large rooms, well renovated. No pool, nowhere to sit and sun lounge outside. You need to walk to Oceanside « clubs » to pay for a lounge chair and umbrella. No beaches nearby. We took hotel’s half-board, food quality was fair to mediocre. Many choices, but bland, tasteless. Expensive parking and wine list.

Wonderful service and a beautiful hotel! The spa was relaxing, the views were incredible, and the staff were so kind and attentive. For my husband’s birthday, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and cake in our room, which made our stay even more special. We truly loved our time at the Imperial.

Grand old 19 Centaurus hotel . Solid, quiet, central. Good air conditioning.Massive walls . High ceilings. Views of the sea. Very walkable. Not expensive. Would definitely stay again.

You feel you are visiting another epok/time period which is a great feeling now when we all rush to work,bus,meetings,and our telephones. But in this hotel, we all leave this stress behnd after a few days in this beautiful environment . Thank you thank you, and yes rhe staff is great!

We loved the history of the hotel and the room was lovely with very high ceilings. The bed was also super comfortable. The included buffet breakfast was exceptional - there was so much choice and it set us up for the rest of the day. We were also able to get parking for our rental car at €25 per night. The hotel is also close to everything in Opatija…. so very convenient. We loved this place.
