Great restaurant next door!

As sweat was dripping off me as I packed to leave in my “air conditioned” room, I was contemplating my review. The reason I chose this hotel over cheaper options was that it was air conditioned and hot weather was forecast for Munich. I was new to the self check-in hotel concept and I will never do it again. My air conditioner did not work and there was no one available to fix it nor to help me change rooms.

Good new hotel in a very nice area, even there is no front desk we managed to do everything by our own. The spaces were quite good

The hotel was in great location, and the room was nice and clean. I really liked the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel is self service and unfortunately I had trouble checking so it was by chance I managed to find one member of staff who was very helpful. It was a bit I comfortable knowing nobody was there especially during the night.

Great helpful staff. Clean bathrooms with good showers. Decent starting point for metro and walking to sites.

The room was clean and well maintained. The area has many restaurants and some shopping and large park to the east . There is easy access to the mass transit and the rest of the city. Travel to/from the airport was alright but takes about an hour as long as you don’t miss any changes.

Great basic modern hotel to stay and travel around Munich. Stayed for Oktoberfest and it was perfect. Good food options too

It was short stay for business. There was trouble getting to the hotel as roads were closed. There is self service check in and check out if you do it outside of working hours (6.30 to 23.30). It works , but you need to get proper instructions. Restaurant downstairs is ok , they serve breakfast and work until very late. Rooms are ok for the price.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the service was good during my stay. However, a restaurant bill was falsely charged to my room and, while I raised this issue during checkout, the hotel pursued me for payment, claiming that the signature on the receipt was mine (it was not).

The services at the hotel were horrible. The hotel did not have any ventilation. It felt like a sauna.

Nice staff. Good location. A/C at the entire hotel was not working, we thought it was just our rooms (2) until we talked to the front desk. They said they couldn't move us since the whole system was not working (for at least the entire duration of our stay, 5 nights; based on the staff's response, it seems like it hadn't been working for a long while even before that). They did offer a fan. There are popular restaurants downstairs but noisy if the windows are open…. Would give it a higher rating if the A/C was working...

The AC was not working during a heat wave, and I was not told until after I checked in. I checked out and went to another hotel and was charged as if I had stayed the night.

Nice place, friendly staff, room cleaning could be a bit more thorough

We loved our stay at HOtello Schwabing. It was very conveniently located near the train station, and only 3 stops from the historic district. The facility was clean and staff were very helpful. The area of town was nice and provided a more local versus touristy feel. Would definitely stay here again :)

Loved staying at HOtello and would highly recommend. The room was exactly as listed. Great area with everything you need for shops, restaurants, and easy access to transportation. My only “complaint” is that the pillows were terrible - small and lumpy. For such a great hotel it would be nice if they upgraded their pillows a bit. Still, I would gladly stay again.
