Room was clean, staff was nice, great location. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was the noise. I could hear people in the next room , toilets flushing, showers running. Also loud music playing most of the night, though not sure where it was coming fom.frowore earp

Great ambience and good location right in the centre

Very good place and cozy!

Highly recommended, within walking distance to the historic center of Caceres and close to nice restaurants for tapas and more. Note that breakfast is served starting 8.00a.m.; so if you have an early morning bus or train to catch, you may not be able to take advantage of it.

A great place to explore Cáceres. Good to have parking nearby and great value for money. The air conditioning worked too! It was 38 outside in September!!

Nice affordable little hotel very close to the monument in caceres. Friendly staff, quiet, comfortable basic room.

Right in the old centre if the city. Great tapas bars within 10 minutes. Only downside was breakfast which was rather poor.

Classical style small hotel in great location for old town. Staff were wonderful in helping me with a small emergency.

We have stayed at Don Carlos on several occasions. Staff are pleasant and helpful. It is clean and comfortable furnished in vintage Spanish style set in an unusual old building. Ideally located for exploring the old town. Car parking is good Cannot fault this lovely little hotel. Excellent value.

Oldy worldly hotel in great location if you arrive by horse. Very steep everywhere with absolutely no parking.

Quaint property with a great location. Some of the room needed a bit of a freshening and there were long dark hairs stuck to the bed linens. Normally this would have horrified me but it didn’t feel ‘dirty’, just something that happened. A short walk to Plaza Mayor and all the old town sites. Many restaurant options in a variety of price ranges. Would book there again.

Was a lovely welcome even though we did not arrive until after 11pm.Was great that they spoke some english as my Spanish not very good. They where always very helpful and lovely welcome when you came back. Bedrooms where a nice size, everything to a high standard. Only one thing that would have been good would have been something to make a cup of normal tea, but think that is a British thing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Caceres as it is so central. It was so good we have booked to go back end of March

I stayed at Don Carlos Cáceres for a week while attending a course nearby and it was perfect. My room was very comfortable and the hotel staff were friendly and kind. Fantastic location in the old city as well. I will stay there again the next time I visit Cáceres.

Good location in Caceres in the middle of the Old Town. The hotel is an older yet renovated building. The room was nice but a bit "tired", e.g., the windows did not lock, so we closed the blinds when we were out of the room for the day, and at night. Breakfast was OK. The parking station was a bit difficult to find, but only a few minutes away from the hotel.
