The hotel is very cute and the staff is really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and the room. Would definitely stay again if we ended up in this area in the future.

Close to train station, friendly and welcoming staff

Lovely old building. Nice location. Great as a stopover on our way to southern spain. Our dog didnt like the metal stairs though

Gorgeous old building, very easygoing, helpful and friendly staff, close to train station for 15 min journey into San Sebastian. Comfortable and clean. Nice large rooms. Relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend

The staff! Absolutely lovely and kind. The cleaners were so helpful, the staff at desk great! Had a beautiful view from our room. Not far from San Sebastián , train station up the road , a few places to eat locally. Usurbil is a lovely small town full of kind people, very Basque, very beautiful. Would stay again. :)

We stayed here whilst on a road trip down to the Costa del Sol. The staff were polite and informative. There did not appear to be any atmosphere to the hotel, we presume because it is predominantly a business hotel with transient clients. Overall, though,very comfortable and a good nights sleep before the next leg of our journey.

It was a perfect spot having spent the day in the heart I'd San Sebastian. There is a nearby town with food options. The hotel was quiet and perfect for a good nights rest.

We had a bit of trouble finding it ,even with the sat nav . So busy when we got there with private functions but there was still a nice welcome for us

Nice clean facilities with good wifi connection. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Good basic self service breakfast provided for €5. Only thing is that the hotel a little out of the way if you want to stay out after 10pm in San Sebastián and don't want to drive. If you are ok with the €22 approx trip back to the hotel then this is an ideal hotel.

Stayed for one night. Hotel was in good location for a visit to San Sebastian. The hotel was bethere than we expected considering some previous reviews.

What a lovely place. So we'll refurbished and comfortable. Friendly relaxed staff. I only wish the setting was nicer as a bit noisy from traffic

felt like a mushroom whilst having breakfast , sitting on a stool in the semi - darkness. was very tired by the time restaurant opened for dinner. was disturbed most of the night by traffic, people walking past our room and the sound of water running, where other people had flushed the loo. if I had somewhere else to, I wouldn't have stayed.

The hotel was easy to find. It was easy to park and only a couple of minutes walk to Ursibil railway station, where you could get trains to San Sebastián or Bilbao. The building was a renovated Basque palace over 300 years old and it was near a small industrial area on the river. The mountainous scenery was beautiful with lots if walkers and cyclists. we were able to egg a good meal for the night in the restaurant next door and drinks in the cafe. The breakfast was excellent for 5 Euros. We would stay here again. Excellent value overall.
