This hotel is located near everything you could possibly need. Restaurants of every variety are only steps away. We ate at restaurants serving traditional Spanish tapas and paella, as well as an Irish Pub, Italian restaurants, an Indian restaurant, gelato stores, and American fast food locations all within very short walking distances. There are convenient stores stocked with water, chips, candy, and soda just across the street. A delicious pastry shop is next door, as well as a souvenir vendor. A laundry facility is less than a block away. Historic sites and beautiful sight seeing locations, as well as the public transit system are only a couple of blocks away. For the simple location I would stay here again.
The hotel itself has an interesting history. Apparently famous people over the ages have stayed there. The rooms were clean and fairly spacious. We had wi-fi and the only problem we had with the air conditioning was due to operator error. We couldn’t figure out the remote at first. The hotel offers a breakfast everyday with eggs, breads of all types, pastries, yogurt, juices. It was very nice and the dining room very clean.
Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and courteous. They were knowledgeable and helpful. Most spoke some English and we spoke enough broken Spanish that communication was never a problem with the staff.
We had a delightful stay and recommend this hotel highly!
