Its a good place to stay, just that the rooms need to be upgraded. Room i stayed it had parts taped together.. looks like some of the furniture had water damaged. I have stayed here for the last 3-4 years and everything was fine. This time around i took some personal sheets and the cleaning lady took it by mistake and hotel was not able to find it during my 4 night stay. Wasnt offered any solution by hotel staff, all i got was that they were looking for it. Breakfast is ok, just have to go early during peak season (spring break) Other than that check in was easy, rooms are cleaned each day.

Primera noche fue de lo peor, primer cuarto un hueco en la pared, nos movieron a otro cuarto y se inundó se llenó de agua por el aire acondicionado nos echó a perder ropa y zapatos

Near restaurants and shop

I dint get to stay the checking process was terrible the staff specifically the security guard were totally unprofessional, the room I was insigne was on the first floor the internet was not working even my phone stoped working in that room so I asked to be moved, 30 minutes later I desisted to do another booking to a deferent hotel, yes I’m really disappointed in city express Lázaro Cárdenas.

Humidity in their bathroom air and moisture extractor not available,very hot rooms ac not cooling enough and phone rooms not conect to call customer services 😔

The bathroom in our room stunk like sewer as soon as the shower was turned on. The smell did not go away.

The location is good but Check in was literally hell. We had to wait almost 40 minutes in row because there was only one person at front desk with a 10 people line and he was a trainee and the supervisor wouldn’t help him. The bed linen at the room was dirty and smelly and there was bugs!

Falsificaron mi firma en el cardex de mi estancia, a la mañana siguiente cuando pido la factura me dicen “no dejo sus datos” le contesto que si lo habia hecho y le pido el cardex cuando lo sacan era uno completamente nuevo donde en efecto no estaban los datos de facturacion y contenia un intento de mi firma falsificada. Lo mismo puden hacer para vouchers de tarjetas de credito y otras cosas... lo tomaron a la ligera. No me vuelvo a quedar ahi.
