The place is noisy and dirty but also a hostel. Above the room door is a grill that let 's light in and the noise. The building is old and cool and paying $ 105 for a private single bed is average cost. Suited to young party people even though there is signs everywhere saying no alcohol in the building. The place reminds me of the the derelict house Tyler Durden moves into in the industrial area in the movie Fight club which is pretty awesome.

Old hotel, old elevator, rundown, less clean rooms, no towels given, really a terrible place, if you choose this place you will regret it.

This hotel is located just in front of Brisbane Central Station and in walking distance to Queen Street Mall.

The cheapest hotel in Brisbane with a strategic location, close to Southbank, Chinatown, Queensland museum, Art gallery about 1 km walk (for me anyway, walking distance in Brisbane is very convenient compared to taking a taxi. Facilities are very good, they are there The Club Bar downstairs (5 dollars entry), has a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, stove etc. self-service is used together with other residents). The mattress is quite comfortable, but a bit messy because it joins with other residents (1 room 7 mattresses) and guy girls joined in one room, at that time in the cow room only 2 people, the rest were girls from various countries (know yourself Caucasians if you change your clothes, don't look right and left, because I'm a guy, it's okay, a good deal.
