Great find - comfortable and clean

Have used this hotel on a number of occasions and are highly satisfied with it. The restaurant is good and the fish course is excellent.

Loved the staff!!!! The hotel is dated but once you get over this it is great. And right beside the sea. And the. Real fast was wonderful! I would stay here again for sure. It was quaint. Not a lot happening around the hotel but it was a comfortable stay for sure

only for when you get out the car 😀 The hotel was all we expected frm previous reviews. One night stopover for football at Cove Rangers, but would certainly go back for a longer visit. Everything was exceptionally good, except the articesque blast of wind that greeeted us in the carpark. The quality shown through from the staff to the food and the accommodation. Highly recommended.

Stayed 2 nights. Breakfast very good, and had dinner at hotel restaurant one evening- was excellent. Staff helpful, recommended entrance to cliff walk, which we did. Great views.

Very pleasant overnight stay. Good evening meal and full English breakfast, great view out across the bay, friendly, helpful staff, convenient location outside Aberdeen, very good value.

Dinner and breakfast on property were fantastic. Service was very good. View of North Sea was great! Price was very affordable.

Very comfortable night sleep, very friendly staff and the food was incredible.

Place was clean and tidy As it was also a pub, pretty loud music until about 10 coming from below. Large gap at bottom of door allowing light and noise in. Windows wouldn’t close properly, meaning it got cold Room was decent size and with comfortable bed

Nice place and popular spot with the locals

This quaint inn was right on the coast of the sea and was a lovely view for breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Nice short stay break, room & shower looked to have recent upgrade. Staff very friendly, meals excellent. Busy hotel.

Overall a pleasant stay but tainted by the smell of cigarettes. Good on-site restaurant with a great breakfast and fantastic service. Nice views down to the water from the room, cosy sofa and spacious. The bed was small and uncomfortable. Excellent car park on site, great location with a nice convenience store close by. Unfortunately the popular pub downstairs has smokers using the main entrance which leads to the bedrooms, making this area smell of cigarettes. We were glad to have a room further away but needed to use that access to the restaurant. We would recommend allocating a smoking area away from the main entrance. Minor cleanliness and attention to detail missed such as dusty plants on dining room table. Still enjoyed our stay and all the nice food!

Very disappointed. Stayed in Room 3 for our anniversary, and had 6 hours of BLARING MUSIC from the bar/public area below. It didn't relent until midnight. Absolutely horrendous, more like staying in a nightclub with a hotel attached. Was told that they make this clear at booking- they didn't - and that it was an old building. We paid extra for a room with a sea view too. If you are after peace and quiet - AVOID.

Great hotel great location excellent breakfast and staff was excellent great stay

This property is a bit in a corner and out away from everything but homes. It served its purpose. It's not memorable so I only recommend if you are limited on options.

This was a one night stay before going for the Aberdeen ferry and it was in a very nice position to do that. However I really enjoyed it because it felt like a holiday because the area around is so lovely with an easy walk down to the harbour and the lovely cottages around. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. There is plenty of parking and the rooms were very nice with a comfortable bed. Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Cute small hotel with a great sea view restaurant. Full hot breakfast is included with room which was excellent and lots of choices. Lattes and flat whites were included with the breakfast. The staff are 5 star. So nice and accommodating and fast! We recommend this place. Be sure to reserve the sea view room as the room is large and has a nice size bed. The cottages are cute but small.
