Happy with our room however on the booking it said there were 3 pools which we were looking forward to. They did not look like the pictures and were very dirty so we couldn’t go in them. 2 of them were also closed. Work was also going and so there was a lot of noise. Good breakfast options!

The hotel is not very close to downtown Foz de Iguacu, which is ok, as we spent most of our time at the Iguassa Falls. The breakfast has a large variety of food. Some, but not all, of the stuff members at the front desk speak English. Overall, the staff are very helpful. On the other hand, the room is very small, and the A/C in our room was very loud. Also, the door of our room was very difficult to open with the key. Very often, we had to give multiple tries before the door would open. It was very frustrating.

The hotel was a very reasonable price including breakfast. The staff was very accommodating. And the location was only a short distance to Iguacu Falls. Overall, this was a good hotel for the price and location.

We had arranged for a shuttle by the hotel from the airport to the hotel. There was no shuttle waiting for us, so we had to take a (more expensive) taxi. After check-in, we were given a small, badly lit, windowless, extremely hot room with only one electrical outlet (no possibility of charging cell phone, for example). When we protested we were given a larger room, which was better, but still windowless. But why were we not given a decent room right away, when it was obviously available? On the day we were checking out, a fee for 2 bottles of water was added to our bill. We stated that we had not consumed the water, but the clerk called the manager, who also continued arguing with us and berating us. The amount of money involved was very small, but it was very demeaning to be treated like that by the hotel management. This is not the way a hotel should treat guests.

Charm lives to its name and is a reasonably comfortable guesthouse with friendly English speaking staff. The only drawback is that there is no heater in the room, and we were cold on a chilly August night.

I felt the hotel was fine. Upon checking in, the staff was extremely friendly. He helped me book two tours to Iguassu Falls (one day on the Argentine day, and the other day on the Brazilian side). As for the room, it was fine (clean, nothing glaringly bad). Overall, I thought it was an average hotel, but the staff was very helpful if I had any questions.

Pros: Incredibly nice people who were super helpful with information and resources for seeing the Falls and getting around. We were greeted at 2AM when we arrived by the sweetest guy. Really set us off on right foor there. Place was clean. Location was fine, we used taxis and walked, though we know there are buses that are pretty straightforward, too. There was a more densely populated business area was a 20 minute walk away. Cons: The air conditioner dripped all over the floor and didn't work very well. Our room's only (yet ample) window faced a wall without much ventilation. No phone in room. No good places to eat within 10 minute walk. Needed to hoof it at least 20 minutes. Transfer to/from the airport they offer is slightly more expensive than getting taxi yourself. But hardly anyone speaks English, so it helps to have basic Portuguese or Spanish. Overall, we had a fine time, rested well and moved on to the next stop without too much trouble.

Nice well priced Pousada on 120 bus route into town going down the hill and to Brasil falls going up the hill. Turn left out of Pousada and wait for bus to falls outside the window fabricating business. R2.60. Great luncheonette dinner at the supermarket near the shell gas station down the hill. R6 for 300grams dinner, you pay by weight.

A very nice and relaxed family type hotel. The staff was very helpful with arranging visits to different places and the hotel transportation to these efficient and always on time. Breakfast and internet included in the price is a plus and also facilities for cooking own meals in the little hotel garden. All over a very good experience.

Extremely disappointed. There were no conveniences at all: hot water, radio, Internet access, telephone, TV not working properly, plus a two flight walk-up. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and will never return to this hotel. We requested two twin beds but we were only given one, plus the room was to small to accommodate our luggage. We strongly complained and then we were given a slightly larger room with bunk beds and still with no amenities- no hot water, no telephone (even for emergencies), no TV, no radio, no Internet access!!. Any reputable association, including Expedia, should not be associated with this hotel.

Hotel was comfortable with a good breakfast. Reception staff offered very limited information other than on tours sponsored by them. Good walk into town but only a block away by local bus. Local buses offer a cheap and very accessible way of getting to and from both sides of the falls and out to Itapu Dam. If you go out to Itapu - well worth it - make sure you sit on tne right hand side of the bus for better views! Use of local buses is a much cheaper option than organised tours or taxis. Also gives you greater freedom to take as much time as you want at any of the sights.

This is a very nice hotel, but it is not close to Falls Iguassu. There is nothing to see at his neighborhood.

I booked this room for one night because I was pleased about the complimentary airport transfer. After booking, I arranged this with the hotel via email and recieved a confirmation. No one was at the aiport to pick us up, we had to call ourselves and they claimed to not know what we were talking about. The "manager" we spoke with was extremely rude and aggressive and refused to compensate us for the inconvinience. The room is in NO way a suite and should not be called such. It had the basic amenities minus a phone and was very noisy due to poor windows and doors. The largest centipede I have ever seen was in the shower. Don't be fooled into staying here by the "free" airport transport, it's only one way it isn't worth it!

Charm Iguassu Suites was serviceable but that's about all. We had several issues with our room (lights that didn't work, a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room, etc). Some of the staff were helpful and others clearly couldn't be bothered. The room was jammed tight with 3 beds and a tv stand. The breakfast was lacking. Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience, but I would look for somewhere else to stay if I return (probably in the city center).

Excellent option for the average traveler... The hotel is a small and family owned and run business. It is well located, organized and the quality of service is impressive. For the average tourist traveler it is an excellent deal. Staff helps you organize you stay at Iguazu, you have free internet, multilingual staff, breakfast features hand made bread and even the simple and insignificant details are cared for. Perhaps the only downturn is the hotel does not have a restaurant, but they can get you something decent to eat and drink indoors. I would go back.
