Good location. Friendly staff

What a waste of a good location. The beach is amazing, but the hotel is really “tired”. Bathroom looks like it was built in the 70s and stayed there. Fridge in the room was as noisy as a diesel truck. The humidity in the room was so high that the carpet was wet all the time. TV was from the first generation of LCDs. Bath drain was clogged, and the water would take 30 min to go down. We decided to leave early, but sad as this was definitely not cheap.

Older hotel but great location. Staff was wonderful. Bed was comfy. The only negative was parking but they have area across street. I drive full size truck so parking was hard.

Great place to stay

It was very nice to be on the beach and have the two rooms separated by the bathroom.

Drove from Indiana only to get 2 hours away and receive a call from them cancelling. The money was in my account, no other place had any issues and they said it wouldn’t go through. When I look online later the room is priced at twice the amount I was paying through Expedia. Then get home and receive an email asking how my stay was!!!! That’s hilarious, my poor grandson had to witness me bawling and having a meltdown wondering if we were going to have a place to stay.

Beautiful property with excellent view from the top floor of the beach. Could open the door and sit on balcony and listen to the beach waves to relax us.

Was an older hotel. Could use some paint. Front door was stuck and hard to open and shut. Lighting was low and bathroom sink, and toilet were 1970’s vintage. Room was a long way from the elevator and still had to go down several stairs to get to room. Overall okay for the price and it was clean. Staff was courteous.

The hotel is older but the room was very clean and the proximity to the beach was wonderful. This end is not as crowded which is a bonus.

We have been to the Beachside Resort several times. The beachside location, comfortable beds, and friendly staff keep us coming back. It's an older property, and the stairwells, elevators, and exterior hallways need improvement, but we overlook all that. The recent elevator renovation is awful. The cheap wood slats smell terrible and toxic, and they have already been broken, no doubt by bags and suitcases banging against them. They should be removed and replaced by something else. Overall, however, we find this property to be of good value. We'll be back!

I stayed at the place 2 years ago and it was ok with an amazing view. This time unfortunately we found dirty chair, unmatched chairs in the balcony. Was not what I was expecting for the price. Beach area very good.

The picture on hotels.com was deceptive. Furniture was outdated but clean and functional. Room was clean. Easy check in and check out. Cold AC, and cold refrigerator.

Loved the location of this property. Beach was not crowded and it was family friendly!

Definitely pretty gross. After seeing all the good reviews I was shocked when we got there. It’s ran down.

This is the 3rd time I have been here and I always enjoy my stay. All the employees are nice and always helpful. But I have noticed a decline in the all over keep of the hotel. It seems to be mismanaged and I just hope that they can turn it around. Dont get me wrong like I said the employees are great and the beach is beautiful but I did have serval employees complain to me on how they are teated by the General Manager. I know from experience if you dont treat your employees with respect things go down hill. Overall I love this place and will of course be coming back. I hope next time to see and improvement on the building and definitely on the elevators. Shout out to the cleaning ladies and the people that work at the bar and the front desk, you guys are awesome!!!

Arrive at the hotel to check in. I checked into the property and went to my room … they gave me a key and room to an occupied room. The lady slammed the door in my face. If she had a gun I would’ve been shot. I went downstairs to give them info about what happened and they just had to say … they didn’t know and just got on shift and it didn’t display a person checked into that particular room. Just an fyi !!!! Be careful here because they seem to be negligent !!!
