Overall Ratings & Reviews El Taj Oceanfront & Beachside Condo Hotel

It was our first trip to Cancun. I was not sure between the all inclusive and regular hotel. Finally We decided to go with El taj. So glad that we did. Such a clean and nice condo hotel. We had ocean view with a private spa in the balcony. The hotel was even better than the pictures. My 2 teenagers loved it. The location is perfect. Close to the fifth st which is live all night with cute shops. I have recommended this hotel to all my friends and families. We will come back again next year

Love this place . The only thing was the washer and dryer didn’t work .but everything else was great

Beautiful setting with lush landscaping and scenic beach view. Staff was helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Had the onsite restaurant for breakfast and it was great as well. Additionally, the location is near many shops and restaurants. We loved our stay!

Friendly staff, very clean, and near town center - restaurants & shopping. We loved staying hear and will most likely stay here again.

The pools on both Beachside and Oceanfront were clean and comfortable, with beautiful water features. Some of the jets in the jacuzzi weren’t operable and the elevator had us trapped for a solid 10 minutes with no one to hear us yell for help not did the alarm didn’t work. Luckily the door eventually opened on its own. The condo itself was perfect: comfortable, fully loaded, spacious. I would come back but I definitely wouldn’t risk the elevator again

Property is dated and need upgrades. A/C workied the first night and never again, cracked marble, worped particle board cabinets in bathrooms. Seat cushion in living room on concrete built in seat too thin or worn out.

Close to 5Th Avenue ni e place to stay

Vacation here with my family and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff, the service and the location was wonderful. If it wasn't for the sargasm, which we understand it would have been even better however there are other options for swimming. But we would definitely stay here again the location is amazing you can literally walk a few blocks to go shopping, have dinner and be in the night Life but can still come back to a quiet room.

Amazing stay and amzing location!!! Everything walking distance from restaurant, bars, pub spa and ocean!!! Tge condo is stunning and the views amazing! We had the most wonderful stay!

The hotel was amazing! Right on the beach, near great shopping and restaurants. The hot tub was very nice.

Full kitchen and washer and dryer are definitely a plus

Great place to stay for families. I love the fact that you can get a rooftop area for yourselves with hot tub and barbecue great for lounging and having fun.

That it was close to Quinta Avenida 5th Avenue have something to do after being in the beach night life even walk around and a lot more cops everywhere felt very safe.

This was my second stay at this property. Its convenient location offers a quiet respite, yet is less than a two-minute walk from a coffee shop opening at 7:00 AM (most locations open considerably later). The clubs, shops, restaurants, bars, and the hotel's complimentary gym are equally accessible. The hotel staff are exceptionally courteous and readily available.

The room was fantastic, the view was great, the location was excellent. Two blocks from the main strip. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous.

Good Services

Report room is very good and huge , excellent location, very close to 5th Ave and staff very nice and attentive! Cons : elevator was broken my hole stay ( I was in 3rd floor) . Overall I enjoy my stay

Our family of 5 had a great time. The property was gorgeous and the staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the pools and the jacuzzi. It was very close to the main drag where there were shops and restaurants. Mamitas beach was just a 10-15 walk away. We’re definitely coming back.

great that the condo came with jacuzzi, the location was in the middle of town yet on the beach. Great place, very clean, everyone was super helpful.
