Clean quiet and relaxing

We had a great stay. The staff was friendly and the pools were lovely. The room was clean and comfortable as well. We liked the availability of kayaks, bikes, and paddleboards, too, though we didn't get a chance to use them. This is a convenient location near Marathon with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and about halfway up/down the Keys for convenient access to most attractions and locations.

Friendly staff, everything was kept clean and organized within the property. Nice size pool area. Great views from our ocean side room. Nice to have the free bicycle rentals. We weren’t able to kayak or paddle board due to the high winds but they are also free to check out. Restaurant/bar next door is super convenient. Wish the room size was larger; it felt a little cramped and that they would offer breakfast. Overall nice stay! Great for families with kids. Lots of restaurants options near by.

Perfect for a quiet beach getaway. The beach very quiet and clean. The pool and jacuzzi are great. The restaurant is great too. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We loved staying here and can’t wait to come back

Property is clean and great chill atmosphere. Tiki bar/restaurant is pretty much attached so great for a quick snack or drink. Cute little sandy beach and easy drive to all the things.

I absolutely loved my stay here. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, beach was beautiful. The pool is heated and there is live music. My kids loved it. Great for any age. Definitely will be back.

It was very good !!

Not a resort (not worthed $535/a day even on holiday) Very limited amenities (two small pools overcrowded, no tennis court on the premises, limited parking space, only one restaurant like tiki bar with limited food choices, and long waiting times, price high, service not fast) very small beach not cleaned in the morning, no vending machine in the building, no area for breakfast, older rooms, toilet way too small. Room was not sparkling clean when arrived, with not much of toiletry for a resort inside. Staff at the reception was kind, nice and friendly.

Misleading description. This isn’t a hotel or a resort. It’s an old motel with small dated rooms. Rooms were clean but very small and need updating/upgrading. Beds weren’t comfortable. Could hear people above us walking around on squeaky floors all night. Pool and bar were crowded with all the people who lived in the neighborhood. Small rocky beach area unsuitable for swimming. Nothing else here to justify the $38 resort fee charged. This is an overpriced MOTEL I don’t recommend.

Great vibe and quiet,relaxing

We had such a great time at this hotel. We have stayed at the high-end hotels and this one, although a bit older, was amazing. The staff were so sweet and attentive. The views, outdoor area by the water, pool area and bar were amazing. We literally walked out of our patio Into the water. It was truly amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

The facilities were not well kept. There were several towels strewn over a lounge, a chair and on the ground at the end of our second day. They were still there in the view from our room and porch when we checked out two days later. Nobody ever swept the porches or otherwise cleaned around the building. Hardly a "resort" atmosphere. Especially frustrating, the hotel policy sheet specifically states no Bluetooth speakers, as if it is something they care about. Yet, there were three speakers playing simultaneously and loudly on Sunday when we were there! Finally, be warned that it is a misrepresentation that they have a typical hotel pool. Instead, it is a public pool that local residents pay you to use. On Sunday there was a birthday party with over a dozen shouting kids and their parents, as well as additional non-hotel visitors. We love kids and the parents were nice. BUT the kids dominated the pool, filled the spa unsupervised, AND the beach in front of the hotel suites. We would not have stayed at Glunz if we knew our “deluxe beachfront” room was a busy public facility. It feels like we were taken advantage of.

Awesome beach and views

Nice stay at Glunz! The staff were incredibly nice and friendly. It's an older property but clean and well kept. It was nice being right on the beach with a convenient outdoor shower so we could switch easily between the beach and the pool.

One of our favorite places in the Keys!
