A very enjoyable night away. Staff all very helpful and friendly.

We found clothes and items in drawers left by the previous guests. That should have been spotted by housekeeping. Breakfast was excellent. The adjacent wood walks were the highlight.

Check-in was fine. There was a wedding on (on a Monday) and was left with a feeling you’d crashed someone’s party. Staff were obviously busy with this wedding so not so attentive to other guests. Main gripe was the additional £25 charge on the room for having our dog with us which wasn’t mentioned in any of the booking material. It’s good to be ‘pet friendly’ but also please be transparent about the charges.

Beautiful room, great service. Very reasonable prices at the bar and breakfast. Great value in a wonderful setting.

Staff all very good. I had a problem with the toilet seat and they fixed it during the day while I was out. Food and drinks service good. No noise in my room from the wedding party. Only issue for me was the room window was very small and high up in the wall, so I couldn’t see out, and the sky light had no covering, so being Scotland, I had daylight from 5:30am waking me up. Not the worst problem in the world. Wonderful park like location, and again, all the staff were wonderful.

I was staying 2 nighs to attend a wedding which was exceptional. The hotel is luxuriously cosy. Excellent big, clean, comfortable room and bathroom. Excellent food and drink. Great staff. Good parking.

Beautiful location and property. Very clean. Comfy bed and nice coffee. Sign posting of car parking could have been better; lots of very empty electric charging spaces right in front of the hotel however, as non electric, I ended up in the overflow which was a short distance away. As a lone female I was slightly uncomfortable with the taking of all my details, and announcing my room number in close proximity to other guests waiting to check in behind me. Generally though, a nice short notice stay for work.

Staff - great Room - ok, but window so small and high couldn’t see out - not acceptable for £170 a night Bathroom - terrrible - wc seat wouldn’t stay up, black mould in shower, rotten timber at bottom of bath panel, pathetic electric showers over sloped end of bath with plastic non slip mat Food - very good

From the moment you walk in the hotel you are treated by lovely people doing all they can to make your stay amazing.

Lovely, clean room. Check in was quick and easy, which I was grateful for, given my late night arrival after a very long day. Very lovely hotel; my second time here and def recommend and will stay again.

Lovely hotel, had a deluxe room which was a great size, only complaint felt room quite dark, no main light. Great choice for dinner and 2 or three course set meal very good value. Breakfast choice very good as well. Definitely recommend
