Very good

It is a nice small hotel. They have several lights on my room that did not work.

We stayed for a wedding and the property is amazing. We loved the beds, the bathroom, and the restaurant. We will be definitely coming back.

Everything we wanted in a great location. Restaurant has a jazz combo on Sunday mornings.

LOVED this casually elegant hotel and you cant get a better location. Visually enchanting. The ground floor room was spacious and very quiet, shutters block all light at night. Super comfy bed, separate outdoor shower that we used every chance we got. Very attentive staff. The restaurant is another reason to love this hotel. We ate dinner there twice during our 5 night stay, it rates as well as any dining experience in Merida. And the included breakfast goes FAR beyond the cold cereal and packaged muffins you get here. The hotel and restaurant staff speak great English and were delighted in sharing their knowledge of the area ruins, cenotes and other atteactions when we asked. The gym is impressive. We would definitely stay here again.

It is in a good location and the hotel is well maintained. The breakfasts that you can include with the reservation are OUTSTANDING! Wait staff is excellent. Food at dinner is average and for the price disappointing. Be sure and bring complete documentation of the room you paid for and reserved. They will try and put you in the least expensive room. I paid for and reserved a poolside room and was assigned a small room on the second floor. If I had not had proof they never would have honored the expensive room reservation.

I was somewhat disappointed in this property. Food was excellent in the restaurant. But the room was showing some wear. And the stairs and hallways were very dark and didn’t have railings. The AC blasted out so I had to keep turning it off and then got hot.

Don’t ruin your vacation by staying here. Many better options.

Terrible weekend The rooms have no blackout so light goes in since daybreak, noisy, worn down. Food very average. Heard the hotel won several design awards, I’d like to walk through the premises with the judges. Wouldn’t recommend it

AC is very old and noisy. They should consider a new set of AC to the rooms.

The hotel was an excellent choice in Merida. Spacious and clean rooms, beautiful common areas and helpful staff. The breakfast that was included was superb.

I was referred to Roses y Xocolat by a good friend who lives in Merida. It did not disappoint! Beautiful hotel.

Very good excelent srvice

Beautiful boutique hotel near Centro Merida. Many restaurants nearby. Restaurant in the hotel served us a delicious breakfast. Noah was a terrific waiter and the front desk service was great, too.

Great location but small rooms; no views of anything from most rooms and terrible air conditioning that wouldn’t get cool enough for us to sleep even after multiple attempts. Also they have a great “rooftop” bar (on the second floor).

Excellent hotel and very thoughtful staff. Loved the stay here, will come back anytime.

Excellent, service and the property is very unique

My adult family stayed at this hotel for 3 nights recently. Now some 8 years old, to retain it's raves reviews from hotel reviewers it does require updating. It's also very dark and the food staff not quite as efficient as it could be. It is however well located.
