Novotel Kata was such good value for money! It was clean and spacious and had amazing kid-friendly amenities like the pool, slide, toys, splash pad, kid's club, playground, games available, and more. I loved that the staff was so friendly towards my son. When you arrive, they even have a kid's check-in counter. My son got a goodie bag with a coloring book, pens, and a stuffed animal toy. Not to mention it's close to Kata beach. The hill coming up towards the hotel can be a bit of a hike depending on your ability and fitness level but they have a shuttle. My only recommendation for improvement is the breakfast buffet, it was quite average in terms of quality. Other than that, I'm so happy we stayed here! Would definitely recommend it for families with kids.

The breakfast is less than 3 star hotel in Bangkok but suitable for a good price.

Not worthy of 4 stars. Never been at Novotel but bored like this Novotel. Accommodations lack personal belongings. Furniture in old, dirty, moldy rooms. Very little food, not delicious. Every time I want to go to the sea or buy and sell, I have to go up and down the hill quite high, very difficult for the elderly and young children. Rooms in the winding, easy-to-go room in the living area. The only advantage is that the staff here are cute and enthusiastic

Firstly, the services, staff and facilities of the hotel are good. But, the room type and the view are not the same as the picture on the website. Also, the location of the hotel is ok not far from the beach as it is walkable, but the lum on the to the beach and the hotel is super steep and pretty long. The senior over 50 years old is not recommend to stay here. At least the hotel should provide the golf car to pick up people up and down.

I stay on 27-31 December 2017 by using 2 booking code ie booking through my friend's member accor points. I got 2 same room for 4 nights. Then on the 3rd day I get my belongings lost in one of the rooms. When I confirmed to the front office, they even asked about the missing hair dryer in the room. Though I just move the hair dryer to another room because the other hair dryer is broken. Besides that, I have not checked out at all, why do they even make a fuss about the missing hair dryer. instead of my lost items. But finally I get back my lost items. Then one afternoon, I was bathing with the kids, suddenly one of the cleaning service staff came in using his master card. Then tidy up the bed without my permission. My gosh, I was very shocked, as they knew that all bathrooms at novotel avista have no key. For the location of this hotel, the road to the hotel is very uphill, quite tired to just go down and up to go to the area down, and headed to the beach.
