I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The rooms were old, and although I booked a deluxe double room, I found two single beds put together, which was very awkward. The staff's attitude was bad; there wasn't even a glass of water to drink while I waited to check in, and the power went out overnight without any prior notice. When I called to inquire, they just said it was out and hung up. One experience is enough to scare me for life.

Stepping into the hotel lobby felt like entering a warehouse under the stairs—dirty and lacking a restroom. The elevator was old and rather unsettling. The room was very old and terrible, far worse than a 150k VND per night motel. The bedsheets and blankets were dirty, torn, and full of holes. The bathroom floor and walls were patched with uneven cement. The electric meter in the room was so old and loose that it took a long time to open. Soundproofing was very poor. The mirror still had fake eyelashes from previous guests on it. The sink was covered in ants. Over 350k VND per night for a room with two beds was utterly disappointing; the price was exorbitant compared to the quality of the room received. The photos were probably just taken from elsewhere, photoshopped, and posted to deceive people, not a single bit of the picture.

It seems like it used to be the Gold Hotel, but I'm not sure if it changed names or ownership. The rooms don't have key cards, and the soundproofing is poor, so other rooms slam their doors shut (because they're push-button locks), which can easily startle you while you're sleeping. The rooms are damp and not new. The only positives are the convenient location and the hot water. I'm not sure about other services.

I'll definitely come back here next time. It was a fantastic experience, affordable prices, delicious breakfast, and the staff were super friendly and attentive.
