Clean room, great facilities, indoor pool/spa (have to book 90 min slot). Nice neighbourhood, only downside building to the rear of the courtyard is a nightclub (closes 0600hrs) however once windows closed can still hear low level bass from speakers (didnt keep us awake)

Overall no glaring issues with the stay however there are a few things they can focus on to make this exceptional: staff need to make guests feel more welcoming; the spa needs a refurbishment and consider having children free times especially if you’re limiting the time when the spa is open. Breakfast is good and has a nice variety.

Very clean room, comfortable and staff was kind and helpful. Spa was ok, a bit outdated but a good extra on your busy day to relax. Breakfast was ok. Overall nothing really extraordinary but good enough to stay again.

We really liked our stay here. The front desk, restaurant and bar staff were all really nice and helpful. The taxi stand outside was convenient. The small gas station with groceries right across the street was convenient too. The free daily 90 minutes in the spa that was included in our hotel reservation was really nice. The spa had an indoor pool, two jacuzzi (nice, but as someone else mentioned, a little cooler than you would expect), a steam room, a sauna, a cold plunge pool, a cold room, a room with various shower heads, a quiet room with areas to lay down, and then the pool had various areas with fountains and sprays, There is an outdoor pool too with chairs, but the weather was too cool to try. We were a little hesitant about the area at first, but it seemed fine. The restaurant has specifically vegan/vegetarian options for lunch and dinner. We did not get a chance to try their breakfasts. Room was clean and shower had nice spray and really warm water. The hotel is within walking distance of the gothic quarter. Great place for the price.

Nice hotel ans location, worth the price however the spa area was way too noisy with kids all the time, i think it would be better to have time slots for families and others for people who want to enjoy quiet moments in the spa

Lots of taxis right outside the hotel. Very convenient. Room was clean , would have liked more restock of linen and toilet paper . Otherwise excellent service and beautiful and comfortable rooms. Top quality ambience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bar provided free welcome sangrias which was very nice . They also provide free access to some of their spa stuff . Walkable distance to all attractions - 30-40 mins. We walked everywhere. 10 mins from Nova icaria beach .

Clean room and staff is great.

The room was good except the THUMP, THUMP, THUMP from the adjacent nightclub made sleep rough. The food was good and the spa facilities were lovely.

This is my fourth time I have stayed at this property and always fully enjoy my time here. There have renovated all if the rooms since I came here last year which was a pleasant surprise as I feel it's an up-grade to what was already lovely rooms. The rooms are all nice and bright and the spa facilities were all excellent as usual. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

Great hotel with great service. Spa is amazing and definitely a real good bonus to staying here. The pool area was good however one complaint I would have is the portaloos. Such a lovely hotel should have some decent poolside toilets. Overall great and would stay again.

Esta es la segunda vez que nos hospedamos en Villa Olímpica (año 2017) y 8 años después de nuevo fue muy buena experiencia. Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias, mis hijas durmieron en literas y estuvieron cómodas. El área de la piscina es muy linda, limpia, de buen tamaño y excelente para pasarla con los niños al terminar el día, el bar es muy conveniente y el horario de cierre (10:00 pm) nos favoreció mucho porque regresábamos de largas jornadas de turismo en la ciudad y lo cerrábamos con una refrescante estancia en la piscina con las hijas. Los alimentos del desayuno son de buena calidad y con gran variedad, nos gustaba mucho el que se ofreciera lo típico de Barcelona, personalmente disfruté mucho de los churros con chocolate y la tortilla de patatas. El internet es bueno, el hotel está bien ubicado y todo el personal muy amable y preocupados por nuestro confort. Lo recomiendo mucho y sin duda regresaría a hospedarme aquí porque a lo largo de los años demostraron que no bajaron su calidad, la mantuvieron e incluso la mejoraron en las habitaciones.

We arrived early for check-in and were told we would wait 30 minutes for a room, that actually resulted in 90 min wait. No big deal, but we could have left the lobby, got lunch, and returned when our room was available. We instead waited based on what they told us in the lobby for 40 minutes, only to be told, no guarantee room would be ready until check-in time at 4pm. That was frustrating. Also the pool had some weird policies.... Other than that it was fine. I'd say just ok.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Carlotta. She was amazing and gave excellent recommendations for all of my interests. The next person I met was the waiter.; Mamadhou. He recommended delicious dishes at the Hotel restaurant and was very attentive. His recommendations turned out to be top-notch. Finally, there was.Muhaela the bartender who was also very helpful and gave great recommendations on dining options. She also served great drinks! As I left the hotel, Carlotta was on shift again and as usual, she had a bright sunshiny smile as well as Muhaela. The hotel was spotless and smelled of beautiful flowers. The room was spacious enough and was cleaned impeccably. The AC works well and for those of us that need the morning jolt they provided a coffee pot in the room as well as a mini fridge. The spa was nothing special simply an indoor pool however it was convenient to get away from the kids utilizing the outside pool. The outside pool has a swim up bar and lots of loungers and seating in the shade. I didn’t try the breakfast bar so I can’t comment on how well or how stocked it was. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay again if in Barcelona in the future.

Love AZZ hotels have everything I want in a good hotel. Love their Spa facilities and their breakfast spread.

They keep our room clean all the time. Replenished our daily water.

We loved the included thermal spa. The pool area was lovely and the suite area was very roomy. Easy walk to metro and several good restaurants surrounding hotel.
