Very convinient location, friendly staff, good experience overall

Location is a short walk to main beach. This is a typical older beach-side hotel - don’t expect the Hilton. Clean, although room is small for 4 persons; quiet for sleep. There is parking available - very challenging underground parkade; not suitable for midsized or larger SUV. Very small car or motorcycle. If you are used to generous North American underground parkades then this will be a stressful experience if you value your car. Generally, parking anywhere in Tossa is near impossible during busy season and streets narrow and congested. Nonetheless, Hermes is a convenient choice close to all amenities.

Clean hotel, good for access to Tossa De Mar, but no parking available. Room small but clean, bed comfortable, very thin walls so can be a bit noisy!! Good breakfast and very good prices for drinks, beer at 1€ for a bottle. Good WiFi. Very happy and helpful staff.

Excellent hotel to stay at value for money., close to shops bus station and the beach.

My wife and I spent three days at Hermes. We had a wonderful time. Lots of grocery store options outside the door for wine and snacks. No kettle or such supplies in the room, which was ok with us. On street parking (for free) was easy to find and safe.

A warm welcome greeted us and we enjoyed a pleasant two night stay at this conveniently situated, charming small hotel. The beach, town and bus station are within easy walking distance. The room was clean and had everything we required, including a tv and air conditioning and a small balcony which overlooked a garden café from where we were regaled with live music until 23.00h This added to our enjoyment. We would stay here again.

This little hotel is a gem. Cheap and cheerfull but clean comfortable and very friendly. The bar is very reasonable as is the breakfast for only 5 euros. The 2 ladies who run it are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. The extras of rooftop jacuzzi and downstairs pool and jacuzzi are the icing on the cake. It is set back from the beach but plenty of restaurants and bars and shops nearby. They also have football on TV for the men who cannot do without it......The bus station is across the road making it easy to get around if you do not have a car. Excellent value for money.

I'd have to say that this is a hotel suited more to couples than to singles...mainly because having heard the reviews from couples talking about a big room, single people got a box room. So it will depend on the stop you want. Overall a nice and friendly hotel. Great food, tapas worth a try.

Room was cheap, in a good location, close to bus depot and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. For a tired hotel it was spotlessly clean. Can't fault it for the money.

A great place to stay for a few days. Our room was comfortable for this price range. Internet was fine. Breakfast was only average. Location was perfect - just a 5 minute walk to the beach but away from the crowds. Located close to the bus station.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Hermes in Tossa de Mar. The proprietress was very welcoming and provided me with all the information I needed for a wonderful overnight stay.

The reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The old fortress at the beach is extremely interesting and there are many restaurants and shops along the way.

I stayed here with my family. The hotel has a great location about 5 minutes walk to the old town and the rooms are air conditioned and comfortable. The bar was nice with very reasonably priced drinks and tapas (1 euro for a bottle of beer and 1.50euro for a portion of homemade tapas when I was there). On the rooftop was a pleasant terraced area which also had a large Jacuzzi and in the hotel's basement was a small swimming pool which the children loved and were in every day. The service from the staff was very pleasant and friendly and a small problem with my credit card bill was rectified quickly and without fuss. Highly recommended.

The woman who runs the hotel is quite sweet. But you should know that the sheets are harder than sand paper, there is no soap in the room, you have to ask them to turn on the air conditioner from downstairs and if you open the balcony doors the air conditioner will shut off automatically and you have to go downstairs to have them turn it on again. We did not even look at the hot tub or pool for fear of the worst
