What a wonderful experience staying here in such a unique place. Individually decorated rooms (Ghita room was divine) providing a tranquil haven amidst the frenzy of the medina. Friendly and welcoming staff who clearly take pride in their work too.

This place is a real palace, all sophisticated decorations made a pleasant experience to stay there. In addition the quality of the food served in the restaurant was excellent, always with live music, we didn’t look for another restaurant during our stay in Fes.In addition the exceptional view of the Medina was impressive. We arrived by train to Fes and took a petit taxi for a couple of dollars to this place. I was impressed for pictures of many personalities that stayed in this palace. Definitely I recommend it 100%

This is an amazing place to stay in Fes, my best accomodation for this trip which included Azores, Madeira and Morocco. I found this booking stupendous for the 5 star treatment I got from the Palais staff. Spotless and gorgeous palatial accomodation. I can't believe I got this for my early booking last October 2020.This is the best time to stay in this hotel especially as tourism is only restarting after the covid pandemic. The hotel will make sure you have all the luxury care even before you realize you badly needed it, like cold water bottle in your room after a hot day's tour. Loved Fes and it has everything to offer a photographer and cultural traveller.

A tranquil and relaxing Oasis in the middle of a hot and busy city is exactly what we looked for. Excellent traditional Riad and beautiful foyer to relax in. Would recommend this hotel and use again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great restaurant, though not cheap. The included breakfast was also incredible. We arrived around 1100 on our check in day, and when they realized we would be checking out too early the next day for breakfast they went ahead and made one for us right then for us to eat as lunch ( we were hungry coming in from an early flight). The best part of the hotel is the location, as you are 50 meters from a road but also right next to the pedestrian only medina. Great view as well. We also really enjoyed the lobby area and the chess board. Look for the turtles on the terrace near the restaurant.

The staff at this hotel are really thoughtful, we had to catch a CTM bus the following day at 7am and a member of staff knocked on our door 30 mins before leaving to give us some take away breakfast and fresh orange juice - we couldn't have been more grateful as finding somewhere to eat at that hour would've been a nightmare and we were fairly hungry. The hotel itself is a Riad so it has a very grand feel to it, our room door alone was like a palace's door. Be prepared for stairs though, in any Riad there are loads of stairs.... but the hotel staff help you with taking your luggage up you just tip them some Dirhams. Overall the rooms are clean as we stayed in two different ones and I would recommend this place to stay.

The hotel is nice, but it's undergoing some refurbishment , so builders everywhere, the rooms a bit tired, the bathroom wasn't clean.

After using the GPS and asking locals, we found the Riad. Everybody at the Riad was amazing specially Samira who treated us just like family. The staff helped us with the luggage and parked the car for us as the parking lot was half a kilometer away. Breakfast was included and was a home cooked Moroccan style breakfast. We had dinner once on their terrace with a great view. The food was great. We were just outside the Racf Gate and walked into the Medina from the Riad.

First impression was good but wait for the stay. The room probably hasn't been cleaned from dust for a year. You smell dust everywhere beds, pillows, furniture, carpet and floor. The bathroom is disgusting. There is difference between old and authentic and ruins and smells. My wife took the decision no one is allowed to take a shower that night and we should wait for the next city. The basin is broken, the toilet smells and make sounds of water dribbling. The shower stop you thinking of stepping into it. The food at the resturant was good quality, the garden where you eat was very nice. The price is probably overpriced but it depends on your budget. For couscous 110 dirham around 9 gbp. The breakfast was free included in the price but it was very very basic I have no intention to go back to meknas but if I do I will not stay there. The staff are nice

From the moment we arrived we were treated extremely well. Anything we needed was taken care of including one of the hotel workers walking us through the medina to a shop where we could get our cell phone SIM card and he helped us through the transaction. Our room was large and comfortable and well decorated. The view from the terrace was amazing. We opted to have dinner thereafter it was delicious. We highly recommend this Riad if you are going to Fes.

If you just need a place to crash, this will suffice. However, it's nothing like its description. Perhaps it was at one time, but now it's in serious need of some TLC. The room itself was small. It has 3 twin beds, but even with two of us, it was cramped. There was a distinct smell of mildew, and you could hear the street noise as if you were standing outside. The windows offered no barrier. The location is not the best either. It says it's in the medina, but you need a taxi to get anywhere worth seeing. The restaurant and staff were pleasant, however, and the view from the terrace is nice. Food is quite expensive here. While free WiFi is available, service is shoddy. This was our third riad in Morocco and was easily the least desirable of the three. Riad Pachavana in Marrakech and Dar el Kebira in Rabat were both fantastic. I highly recommend both of them, but you should skip Palais de Fes.

This hotel has very friendly staff and a gorgeous terrace with a magnificent view of the Medina. Basically it's the terraces in one. The AC was adequate and the also provided water everyday to us. The hotel is next to a main street and a main gate, so it's easy to use a taxi to get around. By meter during the day, the taxi fare is 13 dirham to the train station and 9 dirham to the blue gate attraction. I'd recommend this hotel to all travelers

Beautiful historic well-situated structure in the heart of the Fes Medina. Onsite hospitable owner with an excellent attentive professional & hospitable staff. An excellent tour guide was hired for us by the owner and as well, he sent his private car & driver to pick us up at the train station. The included breakfast was excellent as was dinner the night before. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Fes.
