Friendly, clean very comfortable and lovely staff

The staff, ambience and location stood out.

Absolutelt everything was superb from the moment we entered the hotel, the staff, the room, the food and the srevice.

Beautiful hotel. Very well finished. The staff were lovely except for the on check in on the Sunday. I found her a bit clinical and lacked personality. We couldn’t check in until 4pm which I thought was a bit late.

Such a beautiful place, the record player in the room with records is such a great tough, the beds super comfy & my favourite was the outdoor heated pool. Gorgeous dinner, cannot recommend enough

The hotel itself is beautiful, but the service in the restaurant lets this place down. Long waits, reminding our server to bring missing meals and some dishes came wrongly made. That’s inexcusable for the price you’re paying. The hot tubs, pool and all other amenities are gorgeous though. I won’t be back on account of the restaurant service.

Great room with access to terrace

The hotel was amazing. The hot tub and outdoor heated pool were fab. The walk down to the lake is gorgeous. The room was spotless. The hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere everywhere. Will definitely be back.

I thought the hotel was absolutely fab! Loved the décor and ambience, everything felt stylish and welcoming. The rooms were really well equipped and very comfortable. The food in the bar and restaurant was really good, and the spa experience was a real treat. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Glasson lakehouse hotel is a lovely place to stay. The decor is beautiful, the staff are excellent, particularly Patrick. He went above and beyond to welcome us. The food lets it down a little, not a lot of choice.

Great location, fantastic challenging golf course, nice food. Dog friendly which was so nice to see so many dogs welcomed. 2 per room is a plus. The let down for us was the service as it was like the staff were fed up with people. Clodagh was fantastic is looking after our order with Bonnies restaurant as we sat in Toms bar with our 2 small dogs. The first night we got no sleep due to a day 2 wedding party. Room 1 is close to reception and is very noisey. The manager did manager did help in funding a quieter room so we could get a good rest. The hotel could do with a makeover as furniture is tired looking. We would like to return when it is newly furnished as it is a great spot for rest, golf and lovely walks.

Wonderful overnight stay for a birthday celebration. The staff went out of their to be helpful and make our stay enjoyable. The setting was amazing, especially the views of the lake from the lovely warm outdoor pool. Thank you to all the staff for helping to make our stay so memorable

Great night lovely hotel

The property was beautiful, staff friendly, and food delicious! However, the price paid seems a bit steep for the overall experience. It's missing the finishing touches that raise a place from very good to exceptional - from simple things like missing hand lotion in the room to at one point only having hot water on the room, the irony of then having an additional fee for the hot tubs sums up the disconnect

A busy wedding and event venue with cool decor and a nice restaurant and bar. Beautiful golf course and grounds but the hotel stay is not up to par due to real problems with noise and late night drunkenness. Internal walls are paper thin so you will hear every footstep and conversation in the rooms beside and above. Mattress, pillows and linens are very low quality. Whomever thought it would be a good idea to put turntables and vinyl records in the rooms should be fired only after having to spend a night suffering from it.

Excellent experience

We had a very brief but lovely stay at this hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Dining room had lovely views. Dinner & breakfast were most enjoyable. Bedroom had everything you need.
