I recently visited Riad Soleil d'Orient and I had a really pleasant experience. Even though I did not stay overnight, I was warmly welcomed and allowed to explore the place, which gave me a great impression of the riad. The atmosphere is truly beautiful and authentic, with traditional Moroccan design, elegant architecture, and a peaceful ambiance that immediately stands out. Every corner of the riad feels carefully designed, combining charm, cleanliness, and a relaxing environment. It is the kind of place where you instantly feel calm as soon as you enter. The staff were very polite, respectful, and professional. They took the time to answer questions and made the visit comfortable even though I was not a guest staying overnight. Their hospitality reflects the quality and standards of the place. I especially liked the interior courtyard, which is quiet and beautifully decorated. It’s perfect for relaxing or enjoying a peaceful moment away from the busy city. The overall atmosphere feels authentic and well maintained, giving a strong impression of Moroccan heritage with a refined touch. Even as a visitor, I could clearly see the quality of service and attention to detail that this riad offers. For anyone considering a stay in Meknes, I would definitely recommend Riad Soleil d'Orient. Based on my visit, it absolutely deserves a 5★ rating for its beauty, hospitality, and overall atmosphere.

Just wonderful. You get the charm of a Riad with all the modern amenities and superb service. Our room (Suite Lagon) was spacious and bright. The bathroom was large and comfortable. Dinner was a three course meal (not too expensive) that was phenomenal. The ice cream seemed homemade- it was so good! Breakfast was delicious, high quality and varied. All the staff were lovely, friendly, and accommodating. AbdurRaheem, the gentleman at the front desk made us feel welcomed and was very warm. This will be our family’s go to spot in Jadida.

My first Riad experience. The premises were quite different to your average hotel. Overall, it's a compact structure but the rooms themselves were spacious enough. There was a tropical feel once you entered the courtyard. Check in was fast (they do require your passport information per policy). I'd advice to select your room as no two rooms are the same. Some rooms may be less appealing to you than others. The bathroom looked opulent. However, the hot and cold water mixing is not sophisticated at all and the lack of any shower curtains or walls could result in a wet bathroom. They have a dining room that will serve home cooked tagine. While I wasn't too impressed with dinner (the chicken wasn't the best and the portion too small for a hungry appetite), their breakfast was pretty alright. Mint tea and cake available! If you're staying here, I'd encourage you to check out the terrace. The staff was helpful and friendly. They even helped with my laundry! If you need to pay at checkout, cash only is strongly preferred.

We had an amazing experience there. Thank you again, Olivier. The location is great, you can walk to all the places. The rooms are very comfortable, the view from the terrace is incredible! Will for sure go back.

Breakfast is great, served by the most gentle person in the world. The night staff member was also very kind, and that’s it. It’s clearly one of those places that needs Someone better in charge. Let me help: - remove the excess of curtains, pillows and carpets. After walking in a city full of sand, that’s the last thing you want. If you are allergic, you can die from it; - switch the lady in the reception, she doesn’t deserve the job, comparing to the other staff members; - switch the shower taps, it’s just impossible to control hot water; - make flexible prices, it’s ridiculous expensive for the quality of the service; - fix Ac’s; - install decent door locks; - promote the breakfast lady to receptionist, her smile in the morning it’s everything you lack; You’re welcome.
