This hotel is very remote, so the restaurant is essential for the stay I had stayed here recently and recommended to my wife that we should stay this time I sent an email 4 days before our visit to reserve a table for 7pm on the night of our stay - no confirmation came back We arrived and checked in at 6pm -to be told that the restaurant is closed and that the chef had been unwell since 4pm If the hotel had called us we would have gone to a restaurant during our 3 hour journey before arriving at the hotel I hope that the chef has now recovered and well - I could not believe that there was no offer of some food on the premises - it is a very remote location, surely some pizzas/crisp/chips, maybe a microwaved lasagne for example would have been a good and fair offer - Nothing , so we had to drive 8 miles to Narberth to find some food and then drive back for a nightcap as the bar would only be open up to 9pm We arrived back at 8.04pm to have a drink before retiring our room but the young ladies were locking up , wouldn'tand drove home I think they could have at served us a bottle of wine and 2 glasses to take to our room and we could settle in the morning - as our credit card details were at reception We have had no apology / no future discount offered due to these circumstances - so I can assure you I won't choose to stay at this hotel or recommending it is Such a shame as I liked it the first time a few weeks ago and re booked so that my wife could enjoy with me

What a gorgeous setting for a lovely long weekend away in a beautiful part of the world. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds impeccably maintained, resulting in a perfect family reunion weekend involving picnics in the gardens, meals in the restaurants and restful sleeps. Highly recommend and we already want to return!

We had a great stay. The free breakfast was good. When you book they need to give you directions, such as after last roundabout on A40 from Hwest drive 5 miles and turn right. There are no signs on A40. Katy the receptionist is AWESOME. Katy informed us of some great off the beaten path places to go.

Beautiful setting and nice hotel. Staff were amazing. Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. Only downfall was wifi was weak and TV wasn’t working during our stay. Beyond that, everything else was fantastic.

We had the most wonderful stay. The location is just beautiful and it's so very peaceful. I stayed in the Wall Room with my dog. It was totally dog friendly with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous shower. There was a bed, towel, water bowl and treats for my dog. The restaurant/cafe was located close by and the food was lovely. Chef David has created a fabulous menu. The Sunday lunch was totally delicious. The restaurant staff were lovely. Friendly and very helpful. You have full access to walk the grounds of the estate. There are wonderful things to discover around every corner. You can access other walks from the estate. We will be back!

Overall we had a lovely stay. We were informed that there was no provision for an evening meal on either evening (we stayed 2 nights) that was fine, as we were happy to drive to nearby Haverfordwest. We were a little disappointed that on Saturday evening the bar was closed to residents due to a private function. It would have been nice to have some prior warning, as a couple of drinks at the bar would have been a nice end to the evening. That bring said the breakfast was excellent and our room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is very dog friendly and they provided bowls, a bed, towel and treats, which was very kind. We were also allowed to take her into the breakfast room with us. Staff were all young but very friendly and efficient. The grounds are beautiful and we would happily stay again.

The reservation site clearly stated that the room had a bathtub, but the room had only a shower. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. We expected to have dinner on-site, but the service was not provided on the night of our stay. We were notified only in the afternoon on the day of arrival. Very disappointing. We would not have made the reservation if this had been clearly explained in advance.

Very clean. Lovely staff. Everything needed. Room bit dated. Its old, yes but building crumbling. Magical grounds but quite run down. Rotten benches. Muddy. Could be prettier.Never saw Estuary up like is on website. Just mud banks.Nature eh but not the idylic setting expected. But we did have a nice time. Restaurant food average pub fayre not well done. Bar shuts 9.30pm booked to eat 8pm not a lot of time. Ditch pop music. Was valentine's night, all couples. Create atmosphere. Pricey for quality. Our room had a glass sliding door to bathroom. I'd rather not see outline of my partner on the loo from the bed! And whats with the bottom and top panels being clear. Watching his feet on loo was weird! Room: Curtains don't go fully across one window. Blind missing on other. Didn't tell us lights work with card, hidden behind curtain. Light switches weird. Says aircon, couldn't work it out. Considering this place is reportedly, owned by an investment group, you'd think they'd put some decent cash in, bring it up to standard. Breakfast average. Tiniest black pud. Quality average. Dry mushroom. Continental included standard stuff. But if want cooked it's extra, pricey and everyone seemed to order cooked. Why not just include it and ditch the Continental.

No one at the reception when I had to check in at 22:30 pm after driving for 5 hours. The help or contact number. It was pitch black dark when I arrived. No lighting or clear signage of where I needed to go! I was absolutely terrified and scared as a woman travelling and walking around myself. No clear instructions on how to connect to the WiFi. Awful signal with the WiFi
