Great location , beautiful property , liked breakfast quality , convenient parking

Wonderful restful stay with excellent restaurants on site. Excellent staff, always there to assist. My only complaint (and this is a small one) is laundry service. Did not receive laundry back in 24 hours as advertised and had to complain several times about it before receiving it back at 8p (should have been back by 3p). Will definitely stay here again

We loved our stay at the Hotel Spa Relais & Chateaux. The room was spacious with a most comfortable bed. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. It is a drive to Santiago de Compostela but seclusion from the city was a bonus for us.

The location is magical and we are so lucky that we didn’t stay down town Santiago Compostella. You can hear the stream sounds from the room. Service was fantastic all around. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was superb. Food and service were excellent. Front desk staff were exemplary and easy to reach. I would like to thank Elias for his efforts and dedication throughout our stay. Also Noelia was very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here if your journey takes you to Santiago De Compostella

Beautiful hotel and food.

Amazing and luxuriously comfortable stay

After staying at 35 different properties throughout Spain leading up to this visit, I was disappointed in the service. The communication regarding my luggage and booking a spa treatment was non existent. The service at breakfast was dismal. There were cobwebs hanging in my bathroom ceiling. I was actually quite shocked at this considering it was one of the more expensive hotels I’ve stayed and yet had the worst service. I don’t usually wrote bad reviews, but felt this one was needed. In addition the hotel is 2.3 miles, a 50 min walk to the main square. No shuttle.

Beautiful setting with very attentive staff

Disappointing service for the price. Bar staff ignored us while serving others who arrived later—we had to go to the bar ourselves to order. Breakfast was understaffed, with long waits and no proactive service. Room amenities were lacking: minibar not restocked, no coffee provided despite a kettle, and no bottle opener. No welcome gift as promised. Not up to Relais & Châteaux standards.

The setting, the property, and, of course, the service and the food is outstanding at Hotel A Quinta Auga in Santiago de Compostela. Special, thoughtful touches all aroundby an efficient, expert staff. It is a wonderful experience.

It’s a pain the you have to pay to visit the SPA

The staff makes this property ultra special, they are a team of great attitude and no is not part of their vocabulary!

Great property, very private, great for quiet time

Unfortunately, we didn’t check to see that the pool was available to guests without a reservation. Seems strange that they highlighted photos of the pool but you have to make a reservation and pay a fee to use the pool, for a limited time. The pool and hot tub are within the Spa. Breakfast, the lounge and bar areas are beautiful, warm and friendly. This place is not within walking distance of the town and taxi services are limited. The town is bustling with tourists and students and has a lovely evening atmosphere.

Nice quality property with friendly and helpful staff. Area is nicely wooded with a stream running along a walking path. We walked into old town and the cathedral 2.2 miles without issue. Food was good quality and reasonably priced!
