A beautiful historic hotel with a lovely breakfast room overlooking the lake. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel.

Helpful staff. Very nice breakfast buffet. Tiny bathroom awkward for two people. No place to put personal toiletries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Stresa. The hotel had a good central location, a fabulous view of the lake, was pleasant and all the staff were really helpful. The breakfast with also tasty with a range of gluten and dairy free options.

Absolutely fabulous hotel in Stresa! Stayed there 3 nights after a work conference. Beautiful, charming, hotel with delightful staff. The location is superb across from ferry's. The views are spectacular and the town is so charming and quaint.I would definitely come back and stay. They also have a nice european breakfast. Everyone made you feel very welcome.

A great location right in the centre. Very comfortable but misses a few things. No Tea/Coffee in room, old style Italian powerpoints, lack of toiletries.

The deco was really nice. Breakfast had an amazing choice of food. Bed was pretty comfortable. I wish there had been tea/coffee making facilities in the room. A great hotel & I would go back there.

A well maintained older property with lots of charm and character. Excellent location on the strip and very helpful and competent staff. Basic breakfast. Try to get a room above 2nd floor for the view if facing lake.

The Hotel Milan Speranza Au Lac is a 4 star hotel located by the lake boulevard. The hotel is a reliable choice in the slightly lower end of 4 star hotels. We had a nice two night stay at the hotel. The room and the bathroom were as expected but we were slightly disappointed as there was no balcony and the view was to the building on the opposite side of the street. The breakfast was of good standard and contained everything you can expect. Also the service at breakfast was of unusually high standard. We also had one dinner at the hotel and were pleased with both the food and especially the service, which was excellent. We would happily stay there again.

Visited the 2nd week of September. The hotel is ideally located to visit the other islands and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was very accommodating for 3 adults and it faced the lake with a beautiful view. The breakfast was very good and the hosts were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly Breakfast was 1st class we had a balcony over looking the lake and was lovely in the evening to be able to sit and look over the lake would highly recommend to everyone we also had use of a swimming pool at the nect Hotel which was only 150m away

Excellent staff, breakfast room overlooking lake. Use of wonderful pool at the Regina Palace hotel just along the road. Right in the centre of town with shops and restaurants seconds away.
