Hotel a conduzione familiare in ottima posizione per Assisi e l'Umbria in generale . Camera nuova, bella e pulita . Colazione buonissima .Alla reception non ci sono impiegati, ci sono i gestori che sono cortesi e professionali .

We stayed at the Villa Raffaello Park for 3 nights. The staff was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The hotel was an easy 15 minute drive to Assisi.

Very welcoming from the minute I arrived to every time I left my room and returned. If you’re looking to feel at home, this is the place. Also, if you like dining at smaller restaurants they have a lot of great options within walking distance.

Villa Raffaello is a great place to stay while exploring Assisi. It is walking distance to restaurants and the beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Assisi is a short ride away. The room was moderately comfortable and clean. It was difficult to get the room cool in July during the heat wave, which would not be a problem in cooler months. The continental breakfast was not especially appealing to us, we limited ourselves to a cappuccino. Very friendly staff.

Stayed here for 7 nights as a convenient base to visit Assisi and the surrounding hill towns and sites around Umbria. The building is an attractive and classically styled Italian Villa. Rooms are large with high ceilings, shuttered windows modern bathrooms and everything you need for a weeks stay. Well maintained grounds, large secure car park and on a quiet road a short walk from station, buses and a number of good restaurants, bars and a cafe. One minute walk to the Bus stop for Assisi and many more restaurants (don't take a car) with buses every half our and last bus back at 11.00pm. What you don't see till you're here is the care, friendliness and levels of service from the owners and their staff. Probably the best hoteliers we have met whilst on holiday and determined to help you have a good time. Recommended restaurants, booked tables (we don't speak Italian) and emailed suggested routes to download on google maps for navigating in the car. Also emailed us the recipe for an interesting dessert biscuit we had at a restaurant. An excellent base for any visit to Assisi or surrounding towns.

Lovely family owned and operated hotel within a short walk of the basilica built around the small church where St. Francis lived and preached. Our hosts provided spotlessly clean rooms with comfortable beds and upscale linens, en suite modern bathrooms, generous breakfast with varied offerings. They also advised us on restaurants, sightseeing, and train reservations. In the afternoon we enjoyed cappuccinos and biscuits. In the evening prosecco with snacks. Incredible value and such kind hosts.

We stayed here to visit Assisi, and at least out of tourist season we'd recommend staying in Assisi itself. The hotel was very quiet, although we could hear people talking at the front desk as our room was close by. It felt a bit monastic but it was perfectly satisfactory.

This hotel was small, friendly and quiet. It had character and was in a perfect location in the town and good for visiting Assisi. Our room was great and we had an enormous balcony. Easy to find with good car parking. The owner was especially helpful with details of where to park and a walking route through Assisi.

Fantastic place to stay to visit Assisi. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, room was large and very nice--wonderful shower. Very convenient to tour Assisi, as there is a bus stop around the corner that will take you to the top, then you can amble on down, seeing the marvelous sights until you get to the basilica of St. Francis. After that, you can take the bus back, or, as we did, take a very pleasant 2 mile walk.

One of the most desirable features of a hotel is its cleanliness and the rest are secondary in my opinion. This hotel needs to exert a greater care to address the rust, dirt and stains at the base of their shower unit. To my absolute surprise and disappointment, when I pointed the offending area to the receptionist, she just said that is no problem it is an easy to clean job but she never offered to have it cleaned or take any steps to address the problem. The shower unit is very small and hard to get into never mind being able to dry yourself in it. The bests are hard and not very comfortable. The breakfast is ok but nothing special to brag about.

Initially checked in to Room 11 on ground floor and kindly moved to private balcony room 21 for next two nights - thank you. Check in/out quick and easy. All personnel very friendly (as are the owners two lovely children). Rooms spacious, bathrooms OK but showers on the small side. Lots of on site parking. Gardens and wooded area beautiful. Decor and upkeep of hotel first class. Breakfast plentiful and good quality with fresh fruit available and individually prepared coffee of your choice. Safe and hairdryer in room. Lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity (also try the tasty roast pig shops) Would definitely stay here again as the atmosphere and places to see are the same as Assisi less tourists and everything within walking distance from this fabulous hotel.
