Lovely accomodation, friendly efficient staff, attention to detail excellent

Lovely stay. Great staff, went the extra distance to make you feel welcomed.

The staff went above and beyond in helping us. We had some flight delays and needed some taxis booked. The manor is so adorable, the location is ideal. I only wish we had had more time here!

If it was possible to give 12 out of 10 this place would achieve it easily. By far the most welcoming and enjoyable stay I have enjoyed anywhere in the world. Hats off to Gary, Candice and Cecilia for their attention and friendliness during my stay.

It’s a lovely guest house with a great out door area. My room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were incredibly accommodating. My only gripe is that my room looked out over the elevated car park, there were no net curtains and maintenance was being carried out by workers. The reason this was a problem was that there was load shedding and I had to keep the dark heavy curtains closed, so I was totally in the dark on the morning of the 11th February 2019 for an extend couple of hours.

Wow! We loved staying at Sundown Manor. We had a late arrival but Gary was very kind and understanding despite having to stay up late to greet us. His home is beautiful and complete. We had everything we needed. We loved the location and felt safe to walk to and from the many restaurant options close by (La Boheme was our very favorite). The breakfasts and coffee were delicious and we loved enjoying them on the terrace each morning with the mountain view around us. The home is very secure & quiet as well.

This was my second stay at Sundown Manor and hopefully not my last! It's truly a gem--comfortable, good value for the price, beautifully maintained and in a perfect location to enjoy the lovely Sea Point area by foot, or a quick (10-15 minute) Uber to other parts of the city. Gary, Zelda and the entire staff are so kind, friendly and accommodating of special requests. I warmly recommend Sundown Manor as a comfortable "home away from home" for your next Cape Town vacation.

Excellent, friendly service, with competent staff, Afrikaans, English and German speaking. Big room with cupboards, WiFi, big bathroom, safe parking, scrumptuos breakfasts, lovely garden with swimming pool. Near all restaurants, Promenade, Mountain View, quiet area, and host very friendly with interesting background with full, interesting bookshelves, trophies and comfortable lounge and balcony. Will definitely go back again, as they went out of their way to find a the best ever dogsitter for my doggie travelling me!

Fantastic, room was large and clean - hosts were extremely friendly and very involved. Breakfast is good, and parking was safe. Definitely recommended!

Gary and his staff are as attentive and friendly as can be. I have stayed here a number of times - and will continue to do so. The many rooms offer a variety of options, but I venture to say that they are all comfortable and spotless. Although the establishment is in a reasonably quiet neighbourhood, it is nevertheless within walking distance of shops and even the promenade along the seaside.

Fantastic stay in a relaxed atmosphere. The room size is exceptionally generous, and the bed one of the most comfortable I've slept in for a while. Regent Road, with a number of cafés and restaurants is not far away.

The Guest House was very well located, so easy to get to camps bay (tourist area), to get to table mountain, the waterfront and even the city centre. It was less than 30mins from the airport. The bedroom was in excellent condition, very comfortable. No fridge but not essential. The pool was right out the front of our room which was handy and clean but was cold. The breakfast was excellent, all hot food freshly cooked to order and the rest was amazing. The help from the staff regarding the area was the most helpful which made the stay the best. Thank you very much it was a fantastic stay to end our trip.

It was very enjoyable . Thanks. With my wife and daughter. It was genuinely a relaxing two night break whilst we were in Cape Town on a very tight two week schedule for personal reasons. Select channels though only the analogue and mnet channel and couple of sports channels. Not a problem but for young teenager and so on not much selection for them. That aside it was brilliant

I have hunted all over Sea Point for suitable accommodation - and now I have found the place that offers value for money in every respect. A short stroll from Sundown Manor - 2 or 3 blocks - is a whole host of restaurants and shops. I would recommend this establishment to any traveller, on business or for leisure.
