Quiet, clean with courteous staff.

Loved the calmness of the monastery. Dorms were comfortable and warm. Good kitchen facilities. Well worth the minimal price. Beautiful buildings.

Friendly front desk staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. The pool was a bonus after walking the Camino.

The Historic Setting of this hotel, situated in the heart of Santiago de Compostela's historic center, it is within walking distance of the Cathedral and other attractions. A former monk's refectory, for banquets and meals, serves us excellent breakfast and dinner! The best! Great parking lot for free. I highly recommend this hotel !

Friendly staff, clean room, well run

The hotel still functions as a spiritual house with 8 friars still living onsite. It is a gentle spacious. Grand hotel and our room was both spacious and elegant. We looked out over a beautiful vista of rolling hills and countryside. A beautiful breeze from four French windows made it extra beautiful and bright. The combination of modern architecture supporting a convent originally built in the 11th century with a cathedral attached make it a unique place to simply be let alone have the privilege of staying. Room was great but quite cold… given the horrible weather cold , violent rain and wind

After our final walk on the Camino we decided to splash out on a bit of luxury to finish the holiday off, and we picked well!. The room was well appointed and huge, with a big super comfy bed. The hotel was so beautiful, and we took advantage of the swimming pool and hot tub. the breakfast was excellent, with fresh coffee brought to your table instead of from a machine, and the hotel couldn't be better situated.
