I made two reservations on different dates. The first time I was given a key to the room and when I checked in there was a couple inside the room. The room was noisy from the old elevators and there was no insulation from outside noise. The second time I arrived three times the key did not open my room. The air conditioner did not work and they sent a technician to fix it. The elevators are very old and unpleasant to ride.

The wifi worked well, the air conditioner worked well, the room was well equipped and clean. The elevators are very old and this is also evident in the room because there is noise from the elevators. Beyond that, there is no insulation from the street noise, so the room is not quiet.

Great place to stay nearby most historic sites

This is the second time I have stayed here. That is the best recommendation. I have been very happy with everything both times. Highly recommend. Good location too. 😀

I was a quick in and out from the Saint Paul, but felt well taken care of while there. The breakfast especially hit the spot. I would happily choose it again. BTW, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. 👍

This is part of the reservation we had with this hotel. I have shared our experience in the other post. Overall, we like the location, walkable to the city center. You may want to drop a note to hotel before you arrive just to make sure that they still have room especially if you will be late at night.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that they do not have a room for us! It was late at the night. We were told that the room air conditioner is not working. They did not have time to send out a note in the Hotel app, text or email. So we were totally unprepared. We had our tour bus pick up next day at this hotel, so we had to come back the next day early in the morning. It was chaotic to say the least. The staff were friendly but unapologetic. Not sure how often it happens but I wanted to share my experience with the community.

Very convenient location. Check in was extra painful. Had already registered, but still took over 30 min. They don't number their rooms like typical hotels. So, when they wrote the wrong floor number on the key sleeve, we had to hunt for the correct floor. No hot water when we went to take a shower. Room was clean but Spartan. Beds were comfortable. AC worked well. Very convenient location in Central neighborhood. Okay for a night. Would not have have wanted to be there for several.

Far from a 3.5 star. Maybe 2.5 at most. The walls need repainting, walls are cracking, and black out curtains have lights bleeding through from the years of use. Was clean and staff was friendly.

Staff was great and super helpful! Our flights were delayed and they ready and waiting when we arrived at 2:30 am for 5 rooms. Had heads on pillows by 3am ! Breakfast in the morning was a really good spread of foods too! And it went till 10 am which was super. Property is older and a little tired but it was clean, safe and very reasonable.

Great for short stay. Good central location

Staff were excellent. Treated us with warmth and professional demeanor. Location was excellent, just blocks away from Teatro Amazonas, which has an excellent tour. Restaurant quite nice delicious self serve breakfast and ample dinner menu.

It was a very friendly hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the room wasn’t always cleaned.

The pool area was not available and I discovered that on arrival. They must inform customers before arrival, so that we can choose another hotel!
