Staff was great; kind and very helpful. They offered a free buffet breakfast which was ample and good. The room, although a bit dated, was clean, comfortable and in working order. The location is on the Loire du Velo bike trail, near vineyards and wineries and less than 10 minutes from Chinon city center. Realize that this is an old manor so enjoy the charm and ambiance.

Excellent accommodation, very welcoming and friendly. We were just staying for the evening and didnt have breakfast as we wanted to get away early as we chose this place as it is close to the Centre Parcs Le Bois aux Daims we were staying at from the Monday (and wanted to get the most from pool etc there so needed a place to stay for night before and this was ideal). We were a family of 5 and had the 3 kids in one room with us in the main one but there was plenty of space and more facilities than we expected in the room for the price - as well as things like fridge and coffee maker there were also microwave, stove, kettle (we do love our tea!), dishwasher, lots of utensils etc, as well as 2 tables and enough chairs for us all and a large wardrobe and various drawers. Lovely quiet location just a short drive from Chinon with its large Fortress / Chateau and river (and very reasonably priced and tasty Pizza takeaway which we went to as being a Sunday evening most places were not open). Would gladly stay again if we were back in the area

What a wonderful stay we had! Sad that we didn’t spend more time as really was a quick stop! I rung ahead and explained we were going to be a little late for check in (we were driving back to the UK from Spain) they couldn’t have been more helpful! Lovely people, the most beautiful room (almost like a small apartment!) We had the family room which had 2 double beds and a single - for our family of 5 it was perfect! No doubt I would stay here again! Highly recommend!

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, they waited for us, as we were running a little late. We want to visit again. Beautiful setting. Lovely to our dog. Very special location.

Beautiful old mansion. Our room totally renovated, but fun to see the old features of a mansion like that out in the country. The staff was also extraordinarily friendly and warm. Thank you!

Beautiful location in a classic French chateaux. Bedroom very traditional, but bathroom and toilets very old fashioned. Breakfast good, but no dinner serves.p

My 2 children wife and I had a fantastic stay here. Lovely lawns for the kids to run around and explore and lovely buildings to admire! Comfortable beds and rooms and great breakfast with fresh warm croissants and a selection of meat eggs cereal and yoghurt. Short drive into Chinon for dinner plenty of chose to have! Great stay

Lovely Manor House set in front of a forest. Restful and soothing after a long drive. Fabulous restaurant so you do not need to travel out in the evening. Fabulous area of Chinon will go again.

A hotel with a difference in a beautiful setting in the countryside. The room was off a Vera Dee and was the twin we booked; it was spacious with a seating area plus a table and chairs, a bathroom with separate toilet and a walk in wardrobe.The staff were charming and helpful providing whatever was needed. The breakfasts were very good and in the French style-. We also enjoyed their restaurant which used all local produce. Both of us would be delighted to visit this hotel again.

This is like a mini-chateau with lots of character and charm. Breakfast under the trees was magical and the owners were very helpful even carrying our luggage up two flights of stairs. It is perfectly located for exploring Langeais, Ussé, Azay-le-Rideau and Chinon.

Nice hotel well situated if you are travelling south. The service was a bit slow but it is France and this did not distract from the experience. Interesting rooms and very helpful reception staff

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast table offered a lot of choice but the evening meals were quite basic, offering a choice of options which were the same every night.
